"September/October - this is outside of the traditional European holiday season, so you will have a lot fewer tourists walking the streets of the Old Town."

"Pack a poncho and an umbrella - this is the Balkans and you do get the unexpected downpour of rain. Also walking boots if you want to hike up & down the Old Town Walls. "
