What do you love most about Lake Bled?

"The nature here is so pristine. It is a beautiful place from the surrounding mountains, the forests & of course the stunning lake with its emerald-coloured water. "

A 'MUST' whilst you're there?

"Rent a bike or walk the 7km paved path that takes you around the lake. You will see the true beauty of the place. It’s even better if you do it early morning when it’s quiet & still. "

@travellustlarry's Top Tips

"For the best view, hike up to the viewpoint of Mala Osojnica. It’s 30 minutes up but you are rewarded with a breathtaking view of Lake Bled and the Julian Alps."

Favourite time of year to visit Lake Bled

"Anytime! Go in autumn and you will see the beautiful colours of the forest, or go in winter, you may get snow and witness a fairytale wonderland!"

Don’t miss...

"Bled Castle, which towers over the lake on a limestone pinnacle, make sure you visit! Take a gondola out to the island and climb the 99 steps to the beautiful Church of the Mother of God on the lake."
