About Albatros Expeditions

Albatros Expeditions is a Danish-based adventure travel company that specialises in expeditions to the polar regions on-board their expedition ships. All of Albatros' expeditions focus on providing guests with a premium, authentic experience of some of the most wonderful and wild place in the Arctic and Antarctic.

Our team has decades of experience in expedition cruising to destinations worldwide, especially the Arctic and Antarctica and, of course, the Nordic countries. During their expedition cruises, the crew plans daily shore landings – made possible thanks to the ship's Zodiacs, enabling travellers to disembark faster so that they don’t miss any exciting sighting opportunities.

Our ship, Ocean Atlantic, was renovated in 2016 and can accommodate up to 198 passengers. She features large panel windows in the common areas, allowing guests to admire the beautiful surroundings and witness the majesty of whales and other incredible sealife appearing alongside the ship. All cabins have individual phones for internal calls, in-room temperature controls and TV, ensuring guests' comfort during the cruise.

Albatros Expeditions is honoured to announce the acquisition of its new luxury infinity vessel, Ocean Victory, which will join our fleet from November 2021, being established as one of the most modern small ship vessels in the market.

This stylish cruise ship, ideally suited for our business model of small ship expeditions, will be deployed and dedicated to varied Antarctic region voyages, with sales launching from November 2021. with a total of 93 comfortable staterooms for our guests, all with a view of the ocean, (and 90% with their own balcony), several restaurants, a wellness area, an Albatros Nordic Bar, an open deck dining facility, a modern lecture lounge, and other amenities, the vessel will also be environmentally-friendly onboard, with an implementation of the Green Initiative Program, ensuring both absolute comfort and sustainability for our guests.

The Ocean Albatros', sistership to the Ocean Victory, will join the fleet of Albatros Expeditions in November 2022. The Ocean Albatros will be deployed to a large selection of
expedition cruise destinations, Antarctica, the Arctic, any various exciting new destinations in between.

Albatros is also committed to developing sustainable explorations, through educating their guests when on board, and putting measures in place to reduce the negative impact on the environment. They’ve implemented recycling program to eliminate waste and have replaced chemicals products for biodegradable and eco-friendly ones.
