My partner and I went on many different safaris whilst in Africa for 7 weeks and Gilmag was by far the best company we could have asked for. Mary and her team helped us tailor our safari to what we needed and also for a very reasonable price with various options to suit our budget. We received the most incredible customer service from the initial contact until the time we completed our safari. We can't thank Mary enough for everything and even though safaris can be about what nature wants to offer us, we were blessed with the most amazing animal sightings ever. Cant recommend Gilmag enough. Thank you all so much!

I've known Mary Maguke Francoise since 2011 when I stayed at luxury hotel in Arusha, Tanzania where she worked at the time in a professional capacity. Mary is very smart and very professional, but she's also very friendly and cares about her guests. A few years ago she decided to leave the confines of the hotel and head out into the bush. Mary is very knowledgeable of the great outdoors having experienced the land and the wildlife first hand. You'll be in good hands when you safari with Gilmag Safari because you'll be in Mary's hands.

Awesome African Safari Experience - Effortless Safari

This feedback is long overdue and well deserved. I had dreamed of this trip for more than 2 years and I was not disappoint! My friend and I had an awesome time! I found Gilmag Safaris online when I started my safari inquiries and their response was prompt. I felt comfortable chatting with Mary about the details of the safari itinerary and some of the things she told me very educating. This gave us the confidence to book with Gilmag Safaris. We were able to plan the itinerary together at the right price. The trip was - by far - THE BEST VACATION I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! Way too much to tell in a review... Absolutely effortless without any delays or breakdowns, just very well organized. Our safari Land Cruiser jeep was in excellent condition and very comfortable. Our guide, Nicholas was awesome!!! You immediately understood his passion for his homeland and the nature that surrounded us. He told us about the Tanzanian culture, the parks, the animals we saw, and he always seemed to be looking for the best spots to view the wildlife. We stayed at some really nice places... mostly Serena Hotels in Arusha, Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Zanzibar. The accommodations that we selected well exceeded our expectations for the amount that we paid for lodging. If you want an experience where every sense in your body is heightened and your excitement level is through the roof, then I would highly recommend Gilmag Safaris. I could not thank Mary enough for ensuring we were pampered like royalty, Nicholas for being mkubwa, and the lovely county of Tanzania for the best time of my life.

We had an amazing adventure. Gilmag Safaris were very flexible with our itinerary. We made several amendments to fit in with our flight which kept changing due to Covid-19 outbreak. We are glad Gilmag Safaris made the process bearable. Throughout the process, our questions and concerns were answered on time and promptly. The safari itself was a success and exceeded our expectations. Hotels and camps were of excellent quality. With less people in the parks, it was such a privilege to explore the parks during lockdown. Nickson, our guide was so outstanding throughout the entire trip. He kept the safari completely clean and spotless. He was always attentive and friendly. We saw uncountable animals. Thank you Gilmag Safaris for the wonderful service. We will definitely come back.
