Very Helpful Company

We had a wonderful trek through the most beautiful nature and majestic mountains. It's a perfect trek if you have limited time, but still want a good feel of the Himalayan mountains. One of the absolutely best parts of our trip was our Guide Suma and our two porters! Our guide were so kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the aera. Our porters were also so very sweet and fun. We became a litte team. Booking and information on the tour through the company prior to departure has been superb, they are very welcoming. We felt very comfortable going on this trip. Great experience in ABC Trekking Since my first email to Nepal Lion Tours and Treks until the last day I am in Nepal, Nepal Lion has provided me a very good experience. Shiva helped me to sort out my trekking itinerary and answered my questions promptly, weeks before my arrival in Nepal through emails. My guide Binod is knowlegeable on the general history of Nepal, about the local cultures and the safety precautions that we have to be aware of during our trek. Best Trekking Company

My wife and I booked a private Langtang Valley View Trekking 7- Days trek with Nepal Lion. The trek started on 16 Nov and we reached the highest elevation during the trek, Kyangjin Ri, on Tuesday 19 Nov. We had Ram Bhatta as our guide and he was very attentive with us and easy to communicate with. The hotels / guesthouses we stayed got better and better as we climbed. Food was very good too. We also met Shiva, the manager of the company, after we arrived in Kathmandu before we set of to Langtang and also at the end of the trip when he took us for dinner. Shiva was also very attentive and nice to talk to.

Great Everest Basecamp Trekking

Thank you to Nepal Lion Tours and Treks for providing us with such a memorable experience of Nepal. This company looked after us all the way from Kathmandu airport to Everest Basecamp and back. Our guide Bal was amazing during our trek, he was extremely patient and caring for us both and made sure we got the BEST out of the experience. Bal was also very knowledgeable about the trek and provided us with all the information we could have wished for. Shiva the owner of the company was brilliant in helping us with any queries we had and making sure we were safe and cared for. This is a Nepalese company and therefore know their surroundings very well. I would recommend booking with this company you will get your money's worth 👍.

Great time

We had an amazing time hiking to Everest base camp. We went with our two kids (11 and 13) and the guide and porters were really lovely and encouraging to all of us. We had to change the dates of our trip and Shiva was accommodating. Great time!

Three Passes Trek My friend and I went to Nepal from Canada with the goal of completing the Three Passes Trek in Everest region. While at home I contacted the Nepal Lion Tours and Treks and I asked few questions about the trek. Shiva from the company answered every one promptly. We didn`t book the trip thinking we could do it alone but upon arrival to Kathmandu I realized we needed help. So the next day I went to the Nepal Lion Tours.... and two days later we began our Himalayan adventure, which started by the flight to Lukla, organised by shiva and Nepal Lion. Even though we decided on using their service last minute everything was organised very well. I'd highly recommend Shivas company to anyone that is interested in doing a trek for Any Region to Nepal. Everything was communicated perfectly If i go back to nepal i definitely will book another trek with this company!!

We love Nepal!! We organised our Langtang Valley trek, Annapurna circuit trek and Chitwan Safari tour through Nepal Lion Treks. Shiva was very helpful and patient with us (we changed plans a lot!!) and was very accommodating when we decided to do a trek guidless. The communication was great and we felt like there wasn’t a question we couldn’t ask. Compared to other tour companies we found the price was great and we were able to travel the local routes. We felt looked after the whole time during our 6 weeks in Nepal.

I really willing to Langtang Valley View trekking. Now, I succeed to explore Langtang Valley. Which is diversified of different culture and communities. From start to finish the Annapurna Circuit Hike was amazing! The organisation from the pick up in Kathmandu to the drop of 14 days later was flawless. We felt very well attended, the hotels were great. From the start of the trek our guide (Babu) was very attentive and considerate. We enjoyed his insights and his guidance. We also hired a porter - Sunil. He also was very attentive, friendly and we enjoyed his company. (Apart from all that he is a BEAST! I don’t know where he took the strength to run up this mountain!) The trek was perfectly planed for our needs! If we would have wanted, we could also have changed the itinerary – this was not necessary. If we could, we would give 10 stars! There was not a single thing we could complain about. Nepal Lions – especially Babu and Sunil – made this once-in-a-lifetime experience flawless and perfect! Thank you so much!

We had an amazing experience trekking for 12 days to EBC! Everything from when we first landed in Kathmandu to when we left was awesome. Shiva and his team at Nepal Lion Tour were most helpful and everything was as explained amd said within our package. We booked the 4D-3N tour. We were accomodated at the Ramada Encore Hotel. We were picked up at the airport on time by our driver and guide, Ramesh, for the next three days. We were brought to our hotel. We could choose to just relax or start the tour immediately. I decided to visit Pashupati first. Our guide had great knowledge and his English was good. The first evening dinner was included: a buffet dinner. Meanwhile we could enjoy a Nepalease Cultural Programme. Afterwards the driver brought us back to the hotel. Nepal Lion Tours and Treks Pvt.Ltd had provide a lifetimes experience of Kathmandu Sigtseeing. We always salute for Bishnu and Rajendra for helping us.

Shiva, the owner of Nepal Lion Tours & Treks PVT Ltd was very good at corresponding with me before our trek and answering queries. Binod, our guide, met us at the airport and took great care of us throughout the trek until our return to Kathmandu. He is an excellent guide with good English and comprehensive local knowledge. He was flexible when we wanted to change the itinerary slightly and, overall, made our trip a very enjoyable experience. On completion of the trek, we met with Shiva for a farewell dinner in Kathmandu. Shiva was genuinely interested in our feedback and very responsive to suggestions/recommendations. The trek organized by Nepal Lion Tours and Treks was absolutely amazing. We did six days Ghorepani Poonhill trek and from the beginning till the end, it was superb. The entire experience was simply “out of the world”.

From my first email enquiry to being waved off home at the airport in Kathmandu, the level of service from the team at Nepal Lion Tours and Treks was exceptional. Shiva who's Managing Director of Company handled my booking and sent a comprehensive guide to the itinerary, kit list etc. On arrival in Khatmandu he gave us a thorough briefing on what to expect on the trek in terms of physically and mentally, safety aspects and what to expect in the accommodation as we went high altitude from sea level. The accommodation was excellent in Kathmandu and lower down on the trek and as briefed, got more basic the higher we went but the food was consistently good throughout. On the trek with our head guide Indra and his assistant. We were in great hands. They were professional, knowledgeable and great company. It was clear that our safety and enjoyment were paramount to them. They paced the trek really well to give us the best chance to complete it and were diligent in checking how we were coping with the altitude. They took care of everything for us at the lodges and tea houses. The porters were also helpful, diligent and friendly. The trek itself was incredible, the sheer variety of landscapes as we climbed from verdant to tundra was amazing and seeing the higher peaks in glorious sunshine when we got through the lower cloud base was breathtaking. On day 8, by the itinerary, we were due to reach Base Camp but seeing that we were all strong well and that the weather was clear, Indra gave us the option to defer going to Base Camp until the next morning and instead to climb Kalapathar for unobstructed views of Everest and the surrounding mountains. What a brilliant idea, the views were spectacular and we got the bonus of going to EBC at 4 am to arrive at sunrise and have the place all to ourselves, a incredible experience. We take helicopter ride and return to Lukla. Overall a wonderful trip made possible by Shiva, Indra and the team. I would have no reservations in recommending Nepal Lion Tours and Treks.
