Our Story

What Ethical Travel credentials does the tour company have?

We want to create the best possible experiences for our travellers while ensuring the places we visit are impacted positively.
How long has the tour company been trading?
Travelmeister officially started in 2019, but we were hosting people already long before this and then converted our passion into our job. Our local guides have all long-year experience hosting guests from all over the world.
Do you operate a “single share” option and how does it work?
On all of our trips, the standard price is the shared room option, where you only share the room with people from your trip. You can upgrade to a private room for yourself or to a private room for you and your friends if you are not travelling solo.
Am I contributing to any charity by booking the tour?
No.
What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
If it is more than 60 days before departure you can just change the date up to 2 times. If it is less than 60 days before departure, please contact us. In most of cases you can transfer your deposit to any other date or trip, without any extra cost, but we need to check it first.
What documents will I receive before I travel?
After booking, you will get the Secured Payment Certificate, which ensures that your money is safe, and the booking confirmation. One week before departure, we will send you all necessary details for your trip, such as an exact itinerary with meeting points and times, the address of your accommodations, and helpful information about your destination.
Can I join the tour once it has departed?
As our tours are one centre based, if you can not make it the first day, you could join at the next day as well, but we don't recommend it. The first day is for getting to know each other better and receiving some info about the trip ahead, so we highly recommend being there.

Free Date Changes
Travelmeister allows you to make 2 free date changes, as long as the change is made at least 60 days before the start of the tour.

Transfer as credit to Future Tours
Travelmeister allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform Travelmeister, 60 days before departure.

Low Deposit
Travelmeister requires a minimum deposit of 20% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 30 days before departure.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your tour, tourhub doesn't charge a cancellation fee, here is a summary of Travelmeister charges.
