I’ve just finished the five week east cost tour and can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. The tour that Ultimate has created has a perfect mix of adventure and down time which allows you to experience the very best of the east coast. The activities included in the tour are a perfect way get to know each place, while the additional activities give you the opportunity to experience even more of each location at your own pace. I had Miles as my group leader. He worked tirelessly to ensure everyone in the group had the experience of a lifetime. He spent time really getting to know everyone in the group, had an unlimited supply of fun facts and was always finding ways to elevate the tour to the next level. I feel very lucky to have had Miles leading me up the coast :) I can’t recommend Ultimate highly enough. I have created lifelong memories on this tour.

I couldn’t recommend this tour enough! The past 6 weeks have been absolutely incredible—filled with unforgettable memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Just finishing my last few days on the 5 week tour with ultimate travel. I can comfortably say that it was one of the most unexpectedly enjoyable experience I’ve ever done. I booked a week before the tour started unsure whether I would enjoy it after solo travelling for 2 months. The tour gave me exactly what I needed, laughter, fun and amazing experiences that made better with the group I was with. Miles as my tour guide made the trip even better. His ability to work with unbelievable enthusiasm and passion each place we went to was infectious. Every place we would go he would say “i love this place” which made the energy in the group even higher when spirits were low and we were tired. In addition, his ability to work with empathy and make everyone feel safe and heard was a real asset. I would absolutely recommended your company for the tour and miles as a group leader. The 5 week is so fast past paced. I personally needed more down that I would have gotten in the 6 week tour over the 5 but I enjoyed my time thoroughly!

I just finished an incredible 6-week East Coast tour, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences of my life! The entire trip was planned so well, with so many highlights along the way. From breathtaking destinations like Fraser Island, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Whitsundays Cruise to the amazing optional activities available, every moment was unforgettable. One of the biggest reasons this trip was so special was the people—both my fellow travelers and, of course, our amazing guide, Toby! He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best time, handling any issues smoothly and always keeping the energy high. He made traveling stress-free. If I ever get the chance to do a trip like this again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book through Ultimate. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventure. Just finished my 6 week East Coast tour with Ellie our tour guide. I couldn’t have wished for a better way to start off my Australia adventure. The itinerary was perfect, with our camping trip at K’gari being the highlight. I have met the most amazing people and Ellie made this trip so much better. She was so welcoming, kind and always professional. She gave us the best recommendations, got everything sorted out for us when we arrived at a new place and was always there if we needed help. She made sure everyone was included and I would do this trip all over again, but only if Ellie would be there. I 100% recommend this tour to everyone who’s looking to visit the best places on the east coast of Australia and meeting new people, while not having to think about making arrangements yourself.

Just had the most amazing 3 week east coast trip with tour guide Lucinda! From day one she made everyone feel at ease and comfortable. Her lovely energy and personality is contagious and I can’t imagine the trip without her. Her morning messages and positivity made everything better ❤️ she was organized, knowledgeable, professional and fun! Just finished my Ultimate one-week welcome tour in Sydney, and it was a perfect way to start my working holiday year here. Everything was well-organized and the itinerays was a good mix of activities and relaxation. My favorite was the trip to a camp in Port Stephens, a beautiful place! Our tour leader Tom was enthusiastic and he always made sure everyone was having a good time. They will tell you everything you would need to know about living in Australia, and they help you with everything from accomodation to finding jobs. This tour was a fantastic way to experience Sydney in just one week. I would really recommend this to everyone!

Our 5-week East Coast Australia trip was absolutely unreal, not just because of the beautiful scenery but due to the amazing friends I met along the way and our fantastic tour guide Brad. From the start, Brads passion for Australia and its people was clear. He brought every destination to life with his knowledge of the area, wildlife, and local culture. Brad was more than just a guide he felt like a friend. His energy and humour kept us all engaged and made the trip feel effortless. Brad really went out of his way to make sure we had a great time and felt comfortable every step of the way. If you get the chance to have Brad as your guide, all I can say is that you’re lucky and you’ll have the most amazing time he’ll make your trip unforgettable! I’ve just come off a six-week tour up the East Coast, and honestly its been one of the best things I’ve ever done. The places were incredible, the activities were amazing but what really made it was the people (especially our guide Sam). From the very start, Sam had this amazing way of bringing everyone together. He created such a relaxed, safe space where we all felt like we could just be ourselves without worrying about being judged, he really helped create friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Sam went above and beyond every single day, and had the perfect balance between being professional, hilarious and genuinely kind. His sense of humour had us all in stitches and you could tell how much he truly cared about every single person on the trip The activities we did were brilliant and I can tick a lot off my bucket list now. Ultimate were great and took all the stress of booking accommodation, travel and activities away so I got to focus on making memories with my new best friends and enjoying every moment. If you’re thinking about doing this trip, do it! And if Sam’s your guide, you’re in for the most memorable trip of your life.

We just finished our one week tour of Melbourne with ultimate travels, and got to say a big shoutout to our tour guide Miles for making the whole experience worth it, couldn’t have asked for a better team leader. Full of knowledge about Melbourne and kept the group laughing and interacting with each other leading to some long lasting memories, new friendships and he’s been a great help along the way. As well as taking us to great viewpoints/scenery and interesting places. Would 100% recommend and I’d hope you’ll be put in a tour with Miles!

I had so much fun on our welcome to New Zealand tour and I'm so glad I booked it. I spent my first week in New Zealand with the most amazing people. Our tour guide Eli made this week very special and we made some lasting friendships & memories. Everyone from my tour was so nice and I'm excited to hear how everyone's adventure will go on. Honestly had the best time on the 6 week Australia East Coast trip, definitely the best thing I’ve done and perfect for my gap year. Our group leader Ellie was so welcoming and put in so much effort to make sure we had fun every single day and it wouldn’t have been the same without that input! Highlights were definitely the weekend on K’gari Island and the boat trip around the Whitsundays! I wish I could do it all again and would 100% recommend

Amazing East Coast Trip with Floor! I had an incredible time on my 3 week East Coast trip from Sydney to Cairns! Our tour guide, Floor, did an amazing job organizing everything, so we could just relax and enjoy the journey. She brought the group together with her great energy and always made sure we had a fantastic time. My personal highlight was the sailing trip to the Whitsundays – absolutely unforgettable! Thank you for this amazing experience!

I have just finished a Welcome Week with Ultimate Travel and it was the best way to start off my journey in Australia. My tour guide was Tom and he made me feel so welcome in the group and included in everything! He was funny, energetic, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. This Welcome Week has been great for helping me to make new friends, learn things about Sydney and experience some fun activities! During our tour we had a lot of rain but Toms spirits remained high and we played lots of fun games which brought everyone closer together. I couldn’t recommend Ultimate Travel and my tour guide Tom enough.

The one week oz jobs tour was great, I would highly recommend to anyone looking to work or travel further in Australia! Our tour guide, Tom, was amazing, he made sure everyone had a great time and was always open to answer questions or help out with anything he could (especially catching big spiders!) The highlight of the week was definitely basecamp and Port Stephens!

I had the most amazing time on my New Zealand welcome week! Eli was just so so so incredible, she was always so fun, knowledgeable, and compassionate! She offered so many kind words of encouragement, fun facts, and an all round brilliant wonderful attitude! I can't begin to say how great she was. We got to do such brilliant activities, like trekking to a waterfall and seeing dolphins on a cruise. Everyone on the tour had such a good time and were always smiling - a real testament to how brilliant Eli is. Thank you so much Eli for making this trip so amazing!!!!

Me and my partner just finished our 7 day Sydney tour with ultimate and we had an awesome time. Tom was an excellent guide, laid back and easy to get along with but also had his shit together and never left us with any doubts about how our tour was going to flow. He was also very attentive to my partners allergy (coeliac disease), we were never left chasing after gluten free food options when food was being provided for us which definitely helped us to relax a bit and just enjoy the tour. A highlight for us was definitely the base camp part of the tour as it was such a nice 2 night departure from the hustle and bustle of the city and we even saw a wild Koala on site! Can’t recommend them enough!

I just finished a six-week East Coast Adventure tour, and it was absolutely amazing! Every stop had something new and exciting to offer, from stunning beaches and national parks to vibrant cities and unforgettable experiences. I got to meet some incredible people along the way, and the whole trip was packed with fun, adventure, and great memories. Our tour guide, Eva, was fantastic—super organised, always on top of things, and full of great recommendations. She even helped me and a few others book doctor’s appointments while we were traveling, which made things so much easier. The whole experience was smooth, well-planned, and just an incredible way to explore the East Coast. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!

I had the best time on my 5 week tour of the east coast! Eva is the best tour guide you can get! Full of energy and always made sure we knew what things we could do in any destination! This tour was definitely unforgettable and met lovely people. Just finished our Ultimate Oz jobs tour with our tour guide Tom, had a great week! The tour was a great introduction to Sydney and what Australia can offer! Our tour guide Tom was super helpful and made sure we were all having a good time, flight club and port Stephens were definitely a highlight for us! A few days out of the city was good time for group bonding! Would definitely recommend and you’re lucky if you get Tom as your guide!

At first, I was torn between planning my East Coast trip on my own or booking it through an organization. Looking back, I’m so glad I chose to go with an organization. I met so many amazing people along the way, and there were plenty of optional activities to add on. We always had something to do, but we also had time to ourselves when we needed it. However, my experience wouldn’t have been nearly as great without our tour guide, Sam. He has such an outgoing personality and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. He helped bring the group together, making sure we all got along and had a fantastic time. He showed us the most beautiful places and constantly motivated us to explore more. It honestly felt more like a big trip with friends or family rather than a standard tour. Unfortunately, due to severe weather conditions, we had to cut our trip short after four weeks instead of the planned six. While these things happen, I do wish there had been a better contingency plan in place. That being said, Sam truly made the best of the situation and ensured we still had an unforgettable experience. His dedication and energy were the highlight of the trip

The best 6 week trip with the most incredible tour leader. I had the best time, Annelise was always there to answer any questions and always up for a good time. I’ve also made such a good friend as well as a tour leader! The hostels on the trip were all of very good quality and there was a wide range of activities. Nights out were super fun as well :) I’m gonna miss the group and Annelise :)) #group395
