Morning city tour of Sofia - Alexander Nevski Memorial Cathedral, St. Sofia 6th c basilica, Parliament Square, National Theatre, The Old City Garden, the former Royal Palace, St. George 4th c Rotunda, the ruins of Ancient Serdica.
Afternoon departure to Rila Monastery UNESCO site, located in Rila Mountain National Park. Tour. Back to Sofia in the evening.
Day 3 : Sofia - Plovdiv

Departure to Plovdiv. Tour of Plovdiv with the Old Plovdiv - the National Revival houses complex, St. St. Constantine and Helena Church, the Ancient Theatre, the longest pedestrian street in the world, incl. the Roman Stadium and Forum and Kapana – the artistic neighbourhood of Plovdiv. Free time in the late afternoon. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 4 : Plovdiv – Kazanluk – Shipka - Etura - Veliko Turnovo

Morning departure north towards Kazanluk – the centre of the Valley of Roses. Visit Kazanluk Thracian tomb ( UNESCO site, copy ). Proceed to Shipka memorial church, crossing the central and highest part of the Balkan mountains, and Etura Open Air Ethnographic complex.
Afternoon arrival in Veliko Turnovo. Tour of Veliko Turnovo – the Medieval capital city of Bulgaria with the Citadel - Tsarevets Royal Hill, Gurko Street and Samovodsva Charshia old marketplace. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5 : Veliko Turnovo – Arbanassi - Ruse – Bucharest

Morning tour of Arbanassi museum village to visit Nativity Church and Konstantsaliev House.

Day 6 : Bucharest – Sinaia – Peles Castle – Bran Castle - Brasov

Morning drive to Sinaia and visit Peles Castle - the summer residence of the first royal couple of Romania, King Carol I and Queen Elisabeth, regarded as one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe.
Drive to Bran and visit Bran Castle. Surrounded by an aura of mystery and legend and perched high atop
a 200¬foot¬high rock, Bran Castle owes its fame to its imposing towers and turrets as well as to the myth created around Bram Stocker’s Dracula.

Day 7 : Brasov - Sighisoara - Brasov

Drive to Sighisoara. Walking tour in Sighisoara (UNESCO). Founded by Transylvanian Saxons during the 12th century, Sighisoara (Schassburg in German) still stands as one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. Designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this perfectly intact 16th century gem with nine towers, cobbled streets, burgher houses and ornate churches rivals the historic streets of Old Prague or Vienna for atmospheric magic. It is also the birthplace of Vlad Dracula, also known as Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler), ruler of the province of Walachia from 1456 to 1462.
Return to Brasov. Walking tour through the old town centre, including the Black Church, the Council Square, the Hirche House, the baroque style buildings from the Austro-Hungarian times.
Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Brasov.
Day 8 : Brasov - Bucharest
Location: Bucharest

Drive to Bucharest.
Sightseeing tour, including the most interesting sites in Bucharest, like The Parliament Palace, also known as The People’s House, the second largest building in the world, after Pentagon, The Revolution Square, The Opera Square, Victoria Ave and the Triumphal Arch.
