Highlights
Itinerary
Day 1 : Friday
Location: St Davids
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Dinner
Arrive in St Davids to check into your hotel from 14:30 ready to begin your surf and yoga retreat.
Your tour leader will host your welcome meeting at 18:00, giving you the lowdown on what’s to come over the next few days. Enjoy a welcome drink and tuck into pizza as you get to know your fellow travellers ahead of your surf experience, and to get you into that surf vibe we’ve got a special film screening all about lives transformed by the sea.22
Day 2 : Saturday
Location: St Davids
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll head to surf school to brush up on beach and sea safety. Then getvkitted out in your warm wetsuit, grab your board and we’ll make our way down to the beach.
Your surf experience begins as your instructor takes you through the basics of surfing. From how to paddle, how to ‘prone ride’ in control of your board and finally how to ‘pop’ on dry land, master the theory before you take the plunge out on the waves.
After your lesson you’ll have free time for lunch and the choice of how to spend the rest of your afternoon. Hang out at the beach with your surfboard, practicing your new skills. Or head back to your hotel, rinse the salt off your skin and head into St Davids to spend your afternoon exploring the UK’s smallest city.
To round off your perfect beach bum day, why not join us as we head to nearby Solva for a clifftop yoga session in front of the setting sun. Stretch out those aching muscles after your first day of surfing, ready to hit the waves again tomorrow.
Day 3 : Sunday
Location: Solva
Meals Included: Breakfast
Once you’ve refueled with breakfast, get ready for the next day of your surf and yoga retreat. Head down to the beach for another morning of surfing tuition with your expert instructors. By now you’ll know how to negotiate the surf so it’s straight into the water and time to start catching
waves.
After showing off your new skills dropping into waves and hanging ten, you can hang onto your board for the rest of the afternoon to keep shredding those waves, or shed your wetsuit and join us for a beach clean. This is a chance for your instructors to share their knowledge of coastal wildlife and show how you can play your part in protecting beautiful coastal destinations like this.
Later this afternoon, why not join us for another relaxing yoga session out on the cliffs at Solva - after all, this is a surf and yoga retreat. Bring your beach weekend to a close by giving those tired muscles one final stretch and enjoying the inhale exhale of fresh salty air. What a perfect way to spend your final evening unwinding after an epic surf experience.

-
What does 'fully supported mean?
When we talk about fully-supported adventures, this means we’ve made everything as simple as possible for you. We take care of your accommodation for the duration of your trip and provide all the transport you need within the UK. We also make all the arrangements necessary for your chosen activities.
-
How many other people will be in my group?
Typically our groups are between 8 and 15 people. Of course when we’re dealing with specific activities such as mountain biking or hiking, we always work within the recognised guiding ratios. So for example, our mountain bike adventures will never exceed 8 guests in total.
-
I'm making my own way to the start point of your tour. How do I know where to go?
If you plan to arrive by train, please contact us for information on the closest main line station to your tour start location. You’re welcome to arrange your own transfers or we will make arrangements on your behalf if preferred. If you plan to drive and need a suitable location to leave your car, please contact our team for recommendations on the best location to head for.
-
Are you adventures suitable for children?
Our adventure packages are all aimed at adults aged 18 years or over. This is partly because many activities have height or age restrictions and we found that trying to factor this in when crafting our experiences, limited what we could include. Our aim is to deliver the best of the best in each region, so we weren’t comfortable with compromising the activities we could offer.
