Tour Overview
7 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing Rongai Route with AFRICA NATURAL TOURS LTD 45 kilometers from Moshi town or 69 kilometers from Arusha town, the Rongai Route begins on the northern side of Kilimanjaro Mountain. This is one of the simpler ways up Mount Kilimanjaro, and it has grown in popularity recently. This path is found on the northern slope of Mount Kilimanjaro, where it passes through a range of breathtaking landscapes with unique plant and animal species. This journey typically lasts six days. However, you may extend the climb to seven days by including an acclimatization day. The Rongai Route on Mount Kilimanjaro is more picturesque than the Marangu Route, simpler than other camping routes to climb Kilimanjaro, and has a very high success rate. The porter will have your tent set and ready for you at the conclusion of each day's journey, in contrast to the Marangu Route where you sleep in huts. This route starts on the north side of the mountain just south of the Kenyan border and is one of the least traveled routes. The Kilimanjaro route merges with the Marangu Route for the summit climb. The descent follows the Marangu Route on the mountain’s southeast side, so you will be able to see Kilimanjaro from many viewpoints. There are two versions of this trek – a direct 6-day itinerary, and a 7-day itinerary that takes a longer route. The 7-day Days Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing Rongai route itinerary with AFRICA NATURAL TOURS is described down below and the longer variation is described in the extra day’s section.
