Our 5 Days Tsavo East Amboseli Tsavo West Taita Hills from Mombasa is a rewarding package to escape from the beach to the amazing bush life. Embark on your adventure right from your beach resort and drive towards Tsavo East National Park just about 2 and a half hours’ drive away from North Coast hotels and a mere 3-hour drive from Diani Beach. As soon as you arrive in the National park, the driver pops-up the roof of your safari vehicle and you start sighting animals such as elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, hyenas and many more. Arrow Adventures will organize for you to use a 4x4WD Landcruiser jeep for your game viewing drives. Your driver/guide is always eager to sight the wildlife animals which are roaming freely in their natural habitat.

Day 1 : Beach Resort Diani / Bamburi - Tsavo East

Location: Moi International Airport, Diani Beach

Accommodation: Camp, Lodge, Sentrim Tsavo East

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Afternoon Coffee

Depart from your Mombasa hotel breakfast and drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi road to Tsavo East National Park. Enter Tsavo East through Bachuma gate and with a safari game drive to Voi Safari Lodge for lunch and a short rest. Afternoon safari game drive in Tsavo East.

Dinner and overnight in Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Day 2 : Tsavo East - Amboseli

Location: Tsavo East National Park

Accommodation: Camp

Accommodation Name: Kibo Safari Camp

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Breakfast, short safari game drive then exit Tsavo East, drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi road to Amboseli National Park. Enter Amboseli through Kimana gate and drive to your camp for lunch with game viewing en-route. Optional visit to a Masai village with Afternoon safari game drive.

Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp or similar.

Day 3 : Amboseli - Tsavo West

Location: Amboseli National Park

Breakfast and thereafter game drive en-route. With clear weather, the morning is always good to view Mount Kilimanjaro and Amboseli wildlife. Thereafter join the convoy to Tsavo west national Park making a stop at the Shetani Lava. Check-in at the Chyulu gate and later proceed to Ngulia Safari Lodge for Lunch. Afternoon safari game drive and a visit to the Rhino sanctuary before returning to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 : Tsavo West - Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Location: Tsavo West National Park

Accommodation: Lodge, Lions Bluff

Accommodation Name: SaltlickLodge

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea and Coffee

Breakfast and thereafter proceed on a game drive with a visit to Mzima springs where you can view fish, crocodiles, hippos and other aquatic animals from an underground observation tank. Thereafter drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi road to Taita Hills lodge in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary for check–in and lunch. Afternoon game drive en-route to Saltlick Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 5 : Taita Hills - Mombasa

Location: Mombasa

Accommodation: Resort, Baobab Resort

Accommodation Name: Diani Sea Resort

Meals Included: Breakfast

Early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, continue with another game drive en-route to Voi for lunch. After lunch drive back to Mombasa arriving at your beach resort in the evening.

What policies are in place for Covid-19?

GENERAL TRAVEL REQUIREMENT • All travelers above the age of 12 years arriving into the country through any point of entry will be required to show proof of either COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test conducted not more than 72 hours before departure. NB: Vaccination means having received the prescribed doses of specific vaccine latest shot at least fourteen (14) days before arrival (not including the day of vaccination). • Travelers below the age of twelve (12) years shall be exempt from the requirements of a vaccination certificate or Pre departure PCR test. • Any traveler above the age of twelve (12) arriving at any point of entry with no proof of vaccination or a PCR test or those with flu-like symptoms shall be subjected to a rapid antigen test at their own cost of 30 USD. Any person who tests positive on antigen RDT will be subjected to entry PCR test at their own further cost of 50 USD and self-isolate as per MOH guidance on isolation. • Any traveler arriving at any port of entry into Kenya with flu-like symptoms will be required to fill the passenger locator form on the ‘jitenge’ platform: https://ears.health.go.ke/airline_registration/ and to undergo rapid antigen test at own cost regardless of age or vaccination status. If positive on antigen test they will be required to undergo a COVID-19 PCR test own cost. • Passengers traveling out of the country, will be required to abide by the particular travel, health and COVID-19 related requirements of the transit and destination country • Pre-departure RDT or PCR testing may be considered at the discretion of any of the airlines departing from or terminating in Kenya. • All travellers must obtain their visa in advance, online via: www.evisa.go.ke

This trip trumped my expectations. We where lucky to see many of the animals and experience the wonderful nature in Amboseli. But the highlight of the experience must have been Justus himself, who fixed the logistics, gave good advice, shared his knowledge, arranged the safaris, and went out of his way to help us with planning the trip and being someone you can rely on during the journey.
