Day 1
:
Off to the Acatenango Volcano campsite!
Location: Acatenango, Guatemala City Metropolitan Area
Accommodation: Camp
You'll be picked up by our team at your meet-up point of choice in the morning of the first day, and taken to La Soledad Village located on the outskirts of Acatenango. Once we are there, we'll begin the ascent which takes up to 5-6 hours depending on the group's pace. After arriving at the campsite, located 1 hours away from the volcano summit, we'll have time to rest and prepare for the night. At the campsite you will be able to see the astounding eruptions of the Fuego Volcano, which is located next to the Acatenango. If the weather is in our favour, we'll get appreciate the most beautiful scenery in Guatemala with a sky full of starts and breathtakingly beautiful sceneries.
Day 2
:
Off to the summit for an incredible sunrise view!
Location: Acatenango, Guatemala City Metropolitan Area
On the second day of this tour you'll wake up early, so we can head to the top of the Acatenango and see one of the most amazing sunrises in the country! After appreciating the views and taking pictures, we'll begin our descent which can take up to 3-4 hours depending on the group's pace. After arriving at La Soledad Village, you'll be taken back to your destination of choice in the Guatemala City Metropolitan area.
