Itinerary
Day 1: La Paz - Rurrenabaque, Bolivia
Location: Rurrenabaque
Transfer to Rurrenabaque
Today, at scheduled time, you will be picked-up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to take the flight to Rurrenabaque. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Rurrenabaque - Pampas, Bolivia
Location: Pampas
Transfer to the Pampas (B/L/D)
Today, at around 09:00 hrs, we will leave for Santa Rosa. We will travel in a comfortable vehicle equipped with A/C. Leaving at this time, we have great opportunities to see sloths, anteaters, birds, and other animals along the road. At 11:30 hrs, we will take a boat for 15 minutes to our eco-lodge “The Turtles”, where you will be welcomed with a cold fruit juice of the season and we will have lunch. At 14:30 hrs we will go for a boat trip and look for the pink dolphins. During the boat trip we will be able to see birds, turtles, alligators and other animals, depending on the season.
Day 3: Pampas, Bolivia
Location: Pampas
Pampas de Yacuma (B/L/D)
Early morning, at 06:00 hrs, we will wake up listening to the sounds of nature while we receive the first light of the sun. After breakfast, we will take the boat along the Yacuma River, again looking for the squirrel monkeys, howler monkey, capuchin monkey, many birds, etc. We will return to the ecolodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will be able to fish piranhas. At 20:00 hrs, we can go for a short walk around the lodge looking for nocturnal animals.
Day 4: Pampas - Rurrenabaque - La Paz, Bolivia
Location: La Paz
Morning walking tour and transfer back to Rurrenabaque and La Paz (B/L)
Today, at 09:00 hrs, we will take a short walk in the pampas to look for the impressive anaconda (depending on the season). After lunch, we will return to Rurrenabaque and will be transferred to the airport to take the flight back to La Paz where this amazing adventure will come to an end.
