Gandhara Tours Pakistan

15-Jul-2023

In the summer of 2023, we embarked on an unforgettable journey through the Buddhist Trail in Pakistan with Black Glacier Tours. This week-long adventure was a profound exploration of ancient monasteries, serene stupas, and the rich heritage reflecting the region's historic Buddhist influence. Each site, from the intricately carved Gandhara statues to the peaceful Swat Valley relics, offered a unique glimpse into a past where spirituality and art flourished. The remains at Taxila vividly told the story of the grandeur of Buddhist history. Guided by Mr. Zafar Iqbal from Black Glacier Tours, who has decades of experience in Buddhism and its history, we gained incredible insights into the historical and cultural tapestry of the era. His explanations of the history and systems of that time were truly remarkable. Immersing ourselves in the stories and landscapes, we experienced a captivating blend of history and the stunning landscapes that Pakistan always offers.
