Day 1 : Islamabad Starts From The Capital City

Location: Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad

Accommodation: Hotel

• Arrive at Islamabad airport and transfer to Hotel,
• Later Sightseeing of the twin city, Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
• Overnight in Islamabad

Day 2 : Fly To Skardu

Location: Skardu International Airport

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

• Early Morning drive to Islamabad Airport to take a flight to Skardu,
• Arrive in Skardu and transfer to the hotel,
• In the afternoon visit Skardu city for a nice supper.
• Overnight in Skardu.

Day 3 : Skardu-Deosai

Location: Deosai National Park

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

• Early morning drive and hike around Deosai Platue (National Park with rare animal species to witness).
• Deosai is the second-highest plateau in the world
• Drive back to Skardu,
• Overnight in Skardu.

Day 4 : Skardu

Location: Shigar Valley

• Drive and hike around Shigar, Serena fort, Embaric Masjid, Shigar.
• Drive back to Skardu city in the evening,

Day 5 : Skardu To Hunza

Location: Hunza valley

• In the morning drive to Hunza, on the way stop over at Old Silk route viewpoint and Rakaposhi Viewpoint.
• Transfer to hotel for rest
• In the afternoon visit Karimabad Bazar and Baltit Fort
• Overnight in Hunza

Day 6 : Hunza To Upper Hunza (Gojal)

Location: Ghulkin

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

• Drive from Hunza to Gojal.
• Hike from Ghulkin to Borith via Ghulkin Glacier.
• Arrive at borith lake and rest in the hotel.
• In the evening walk around Borith Lake
• Overnight in Borith.

Day 7 : Hunza-Khunjerav-Hunza

Location: Khunjerab

Accommodation: Hotel

• Early morning leave for Khunjerav Pass (Pakistan china border).
• On the way stop for pictures at Passu cones and Passu glacier view point.
• Visit Sost Bazar and pass through the Khunjerav National Park.
• Back to Borith for an overnight stay.

Day 8 : Hunza-Gilgit

Location: Hunza Valley

Accommodation: Hotel

• Drive from Borith to Gilgit
• On the way visit Kargah Nalah, to witness the huge Buddha carving in a mountain.
• Further visit Gilgit city and the bazaar.

• Early morning hit the road for Besham
• Drive on the historical KKH (Silkrout) while enjoying the amazingly dynamic landscape.
• Driving through the Himalaya and Karakoram range you would finally reach the capital of Kohistan district.

Day 10 : Besham-Taxila-Islamabad Airport-Home

Location: Islamabad

Joseph Kaelin A long time ago, shortly after the Karakoram Highway was built, I travelled through the Hunza Valley. I always hoped to come back some day and explore this area more. Fortunately, work took me recently to northern Pakistan and I was able to visit the upper Hunza valley. I trekked to the Passu glacier, Patundas Meadow and the Passu Peak base camp. This was a wonderful trek. The terrain that we crossed was varied, mostly in the arid zone, but sometimes also in the cedars, then finally in the alpine zone. We hiked along glacier moraines, crossed the Passu glacier and hiked the ridge above Patundas Meadows. Everywhere the views were breathtaking. The locals call it Patundas table, because the meadow is flat and provides a true 360 degree panorama. Some preparation is required to visit the area, organising the porters and food.
