Day 1 : Islamabad International Airport

Location: Islamabad International Airport

Accommodation: Hotel

• Arrive at Islamabad airport and transfer to Hotel,
• Later Sightseeing of the twin city, Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
• Overnight in Islamabad

Day 2 : Fly To Skardu

Location: Skardu International Airport

• Early Morning drive to Islamabad Airport to take a flight to Skardu,
• Drive from Skardu airport to Raikot bridge,
• From Raikot bridge swap to 4 x4 jeep and drive to Tato Village ,
• Trek to Fairy Meadows (2hrs trekking)
• Night Stay at Fairy Meadow (camping/huts)

Day 3 : Nanga Parbet Base Camp Trek

Location: Fairy Meadows

Accommodation: Resort, Resort

• Walk along the Nanga Parbat glacier at an elevation (of 13000 ft)
• Short stopover at Biyal
• Crossing of Glacier

Day 4 : Drive To Hunza

Location: Hunza Valley, Fairy Meadows, Gojal

• Trek back from Fairy Meadow to Tato Village.
• Drive in Jeep from Tato Village to KKH (Raikot Bridge).

Day 5 : Hike To Luzdoor

Location: Borit Lake, Pasu Glacier

• Start the 4 day Trek to Patundas Meadow,
• Have a break in Kouk for snacks.
• Cross Passu glacier.

Day 6 : Final Hike To Patundas

Location: Patundas Meadows

Accommodation: Camp

• Early Morning Trek from Luzdur to Patundas
• Step hike leaving back the glacier below.
• Reach Patundas Meadow and have amazing food.
• Overnight in tents or Shepherds huts, whichever you like.

Day 7 : Passu Peak Basecamp Trek

Location: Patundas Meadows, Pasu Glacier

Accommodation: Camp

• Early morning hike to Yorch (Passu Peak base camp).
• Have light snacks.
Have a complete day of
• Start hike back to the camp.

Day 8 : Hike Back To Borith

Location: Patundas Meadows, Borit Lake

• Overnight in Borith.

Day 9 : Borith-Khunjerab-Hunza

Location: Khunjerab National Park, Karim Abad Road

Visit Khunjerab Pass (Pakistan-China Border)
• Early morning drive to Khunjerab pass (Pakistan-China Border)
• On the way stop at Passu cones viewpoint.

snow leopard if you are lucky.)
• Depending on the available time visit Hussaini Suspension bridge.
• Take pictures and walk around before driving to Karim Abad Hunza.

Location: Besham City, Gilgit, Chilās, Hunza valley

• Early morning hit the road for Besham
• Drive on the historical KKH (Silkrout) while enjoying the amazingly dynamic landscape.
• Driving through the Himalaya and Karakoram range you would finally reach the capital of Kohistan district.
• Along the stopover at all the local milestones. Rakaposhi view point, Nanga parbat view point, old silkrout view point, three mountain ranges junction point.
• Overnight in Besham.

Day 11 : Besham-Taxila-Islamabad

Location: Taxila, Besham City, Islamabad

• Early morning Leave Besham for another exciting day, this time the destination is Islamabad.
• On the way visit Taxila, the central point of Bhuddism history of this region.

Day 12 : Excursion Of Twin Cities - Fly Home

Joseph Kaelin 7 months ago A long time ago, shortly after the Karakoram Highway was built, I travelled through the Hunza Valley. I always hoped to come back some day and explore this area more. Fortunately, work took me recently to northern Pakistan and I was able to visit the upper Hunza valley. I trekked to the Passu glacier, Patundas Meadow and the Passu Peak base camp. This was a wonderful trek. The terrain that we crossed was varied, mostly in the arid zone, but sometimes also in the cedars, then finally in the alpine zone. We hiked along glacier moraines, crossed the Passu glacier and hiked the ridge above Patundas Meadows. Everywhere the views were breathtaking. The locals call it Patundas table, because the meadow is flat and provides a true 360 degree panorama. Some preparation is required to visit the area, organising the portars and food.
