Tour Overview
The Mardi Himal trek is a moderate-level trekking route that takes six to one week to complete. The journey starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and passes through several beautiful towns in Nepal's remote area. To start the trek, two permits must be required, including another Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) card and an Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP). Having these permits will help you continue trekking without any problem or delay. For sunny, clear and favourable weather, start trekking towards Mardi Himal during pre-monsoon and post-monsoon that falls during Spring and Autumn. Packing wisely is another essential thing for an enjoyable trek. Some basic equipment are good trekking boots, warm clothes, and sleeping bags. Mardi Himal treks not only provide an adventurous journey, but it is also a great combination of stunning views, unique landscapes, and cultural richness. The trail passes through eye-catching rhododendron forest, Gurung villages and High Camp. The highest elevation of the trek is 4500m at Mardi Himal Base camp. You'll get a close view of Annapurna South, Macchapucchre, and Himchuli from there. The top of the base Camp also showcases the beauty of the region.
