Incredible 6 day trip to Ha Giang, Ban Gioc Waterfall and Babe lake

07-Feb-2020

Our 6 day Northern Vietnam tour to Ha Giang, Ban Gioc Waterfall and Ba Be Lake is indeed one of the most excellent trips in our life. We had great chance to join locals, walking off the beaten track and savoring the best landscapes in the world. Ha Giang is so untouched and amazing as the last frontier in North of Vietnam, especially the Ma Pi Leng pass where you can feel a great sense of nature. We love the beauty of Ban Gioc waterfall which lies right in the border of Vietnam and China. The fall is big and it is such a picturesque picture in the middle of mountains and forrests. Ba Be Lake and Ba Be national park also took our breath away. Our guide Jack really helped us to make a trip of life time. We learned a lot about local lives as well, which seem very interesting and valuable to us. Thank you a lot!

Amazing unexplored northern Vietnam tour 6 days

18-Oct-2019

This was a great part of a one month long trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Our driver and tour guide were having as much fun as we were I think. Northern Vietnam is very green and has a beautiful Karst region that should be explored, especially by photographers. I have nothing but good things to say about the tour. There were some long days on switchback mountain roads but thats what it takes to access great spots. The homestays with the families were my favorite part. I love the food and the how friendly everyone was. Highly recommend.

Wonderful northern Vietnam tour off the beaten track 6 days

06-Sep-2019

We had an unforgettable trip to unexplored Northern Vietnam with Conical Travel! Our guide Jack was one of the most knowledgeable and thoughtful guides we have ever had. He was so well-spoken in English and well-versed in history, local tradition and cultures, and even flora & fauna. We were taken on the less traveled paths, and saw very few other tourists for the most part. With a favor of weather, we had wonderful time hiking through the jungles, mountains and local villages of Hmong and Dao ethnic people. Highly recommend the trip and the Conical Travel team to any nature and adventure fan! Anthony & Laura with hugs!

Amazing topography and natural wonders

04-Mar-2020

Our group also traveled to the north of Vietnam to experience the village and farming life. It was truly one of the most beautiful moments of my life. The home-stays and farm-stays set up for us by Conical travel were simply amazing. We received such a warm welcome with the most gracious of hosts. Our stay in Ha Giang, Xấ Phương Độ was spectacular. When we arrived, we took a tour of the village. When we visited Tỉnh Cao Bằng, Minh led us on a hike into the hills above the village. We arrived at the top of the most amazing viewpoint, seeing the whole valley below, and all of its beautiful karst topography, this was another highlight of our trip through northern Vietnam. Minh was also very knowledgeable of the caves and unique landforms found in Vietnam, we visited many spectacular caves and natural areas in the Geo Park, it is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site and of great importance for its unique geology and cultural value. We discovered the traditional village life, knife-making, incense making, and learned about the agricultural life of the villages. In Quang Uyen- Ban Gioc Waterfall was an amazing site, which I highly recommend visiting. Coa Bang province was absolutely beautiful!

Untouched and Amazing Experiences

18-Aug-2019

We visited Sapa last trip to Vietnam and loved the Northwest of Vietnam. This time in Vietnam we were looking for ability to see off path sites, go deeper into mountains, and experience local ethnic cultures, away from tourist locations. These locations were untouched and beautiful. This trip was more than expected! We saw such beautiful sites and met local village people who were kind and welcoming. Minh and his team were wonderful at managing details, communicating, and driving through local terrain. You can count on professional guidance and having fun in authentically charming villages and stops

Must-see!

13-Feb-2020

This was an epic journey through mountains that were like nothing I'd ever seen! Every day was packed with majestic scenery. The accommodations were simple but superb: rural hospitality, piles of fresh food, and great spirits all around (một, hai, ba. dzô!). Our guide, Minh, takes pride in knowing the history of everywhere we visited. If he is your guide, you will learn a lot! We traveled many kilometers, and probably some vertically as well (fortunately, we had an expert driver). The scenery was captivating after the first day or two once we got away from Hanoi. There was quite a bit of walking and opportunities for hiking/climbing, but the physical demands were not serious for a person of good health
