Tour Overview

Starting in the soulful city of Reykjavik, this trip will have you widening your eyes at the best of Iceland's unique natural beauty. Along the way you’ll witness erupting geysers & cascading waterfalls, marvel at volcanoes & glaciers and soak in the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal mineral wonder surrounded by steam and stars. By the time it’s over, you’ll be floating home with a full camera reel and a lovestruck look plastered all over your face.

Highlights

  • 3 Dinner (D)

  • 5 Breakfast (B)

  • Reykjavik: Enjoy the first meal together with your group and dine on a dinner of seasonal Icelandic specialties. Toast the beginning of your adventure as a team - the possibilities are endless!

  • Geysir: Get your camera ready for this jumping geothermal wonder as we explore the heart of Iceland, Thingvellir National Park. And if you miss the photo op don’t worry. It’ll happen again in five minutes. Luckily!

  • Midgard: Grab your new BFFs to relax in the rooftop sauna and then soak in the hot tub at your hotel.

  • Skaftafell: Get your camera reel a-ready in Skaftafell for some of the weirdest and most wonderful waterfalls you'll have ever seen in your life!

  • Skaftafell: Walk the black sands on the world-famous Reynisfjara Beach and look out for the basalt pillars and unique rock formations on the coast.

  • Skaftafell: Marvel at canyons, volcanoes & glaciers on a drive through Kirkjubaejarklaustur, a beautiful rural town of just 500 people.

  • Skaftafell: Look out for pony-sized horses with teal blue eyes in Skaftafell

  • Midgard: Step into the world of Icelandic farm life with a visit to Efstidalur - a farm run by four siblings whose ancestors have worked the land since 1750! You'll get the chance to try their locally made ice cream, Skyr yoghurt, feta cheese and much more.

After checking into your hostel and having time to unwind, we'll bond over a tasty 3-course local dinner, feeling the frisson of excitement about the fine days that lay ahead of us.

Day 2: Reykjavik To Midgard

After breakfast this morning we're headed to Midgard Base Camp - but loads to see and do on the way as we make our way around the Golden Circle.
First, a stop at the spectacular Thingvellir National Park before heading onto Efstidalur, where we'll enjoy a Farm to Table presentation and get a tantalising taste of the local cuisine. Then we're off to the jaw-dropping geothermal fields of Geysir and a visit to the magnificent Gullfoss Falls. The evening offers the opportunity to relax in the rooftop sauna & hot tub at Midgard Base Camp and reflect on an incredible day in this amazing country.

My amazing trip to Africa

Sherif was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about every single small detail at each site that we visited. In addition to his great service, he has a glowing spirit that made me feel like I had family with me the entire trip. Anything that I was concerned about, he always had an answer and was there to help. I truly enjoyed my experience and will purchase a tour with him in the future
