Day 1: Arrive Berlin
Location: Berlin
Accommodation: Econtel Hotel Berlin Charlottenburg (or similar)

Ah, only on Contiki would the festivities of a Hungarian music festival commence in Germany. Settle in to your new digs in Berlin, where we'll be getting acquainted with this eclectic city and our new posse for two nights. Let's do this!

Day 2: Berlin
Location: Berlin
Accommodation: Econtel Hotel Berlin Charlottenburg (or similar)
Meals Included: Breakfast

Come for a wall covered in art & history, stay for a culture of cool, a smorgasbord of partying & an abundance of unique German flair. The day is yours; you could jump onto an historical walking tour of the city to learn about the East, the West and everything in-between in this city packed with a troubled past. Later you can get in the know on the famous Berlin street art scene, complete with stops along the way for the likes of schnitzel, bratwurst and delicious local eats to keep things go go go. What else? The list is endless, or you could jump straight into the mood of the tour and save yourself for a night of thudding beats & club hopping.

Day 3: Berlin To Prague Via Dresden
Location: Berlin, Prague
Accommodation: Hotel Duo Prague (or similar)
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

It's time to begin dipping south. Though we could kick it in Berlin for months without getting bored, we have a pretty important schedule ahead of us ... #SzigetA drive from Berlin to Prague would not be complete without stopping in Dresden. Destroyed by World War II, the rebuilt town is now a symbol of resilience, soaked in the rebirthed beauty of an Opera house, the domed Frauenkirche, & the Royal Residence.By the afternoon we'll be Czech side, heading to the buzzing capital city of Prague. Always down to explore, we'll waste no time getting acquainted with castles, bridges, gothic cathedrals & general prettiness galore.

Day 4: Prague
Location: Prague
Accommodation: Hotel Duo Prague (or similar)
Meals Included: Breakfast

Compact and bursting with atmosphere, use your free time in Prague to trot around on foot and see what you stumble upon (hoping to heaven it's the traditional fruit dumpling of ovocné knedlíky). You've also got the option to see this blissful city on two-wheels with our Local Guide leading the charge.

Day 5: Prague To Vienna Via Kutna Hora
Location: Prague, Vienna
Accommodation: Ibis Wien Mariahilf (or similar)
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Just remember, with every great city we leave behind we get a little bit closer to the dream scene that is Sziget. Leaving fine lands has never felt so good!Out of Prague, our first stop is the World Heritage-listed Kutná Hora. Make the local Sedlec Ossuary chapel high priority, it's decked out and furnished in the bones of over 40,000 ... humans. True! Two nights in Vienna will see as getting into a slightly different musical mood than Sziget has in store for us. But that's for tomorrow's excitement! First, we have a bit of heritage to tap into with the grandeur palace of Schönbrunn, the uber elegant State Opera House and the gothic masterpiece of St. Stephen’s Cathedral. As promised, tonight you have the chance to get into the mood of this trip - just with a slightly different melody - by experiencing Vienna’s musical legacy with a Mozart and Strauss concert in one of the city’s imperial palaces.

Day 6: Vienna
Location: Vienna
Accommodation: Ibis Wien Mariahilf (or similar)
Meals Included: Breakfast

Waking up in the stunning capital of Vienna, a city known for its coffee culture and baroque architecture, we'll have plenty of adventures to pursue today. Opt to take a Kick Bike tour to explore the city's heritage-rich streets and buildings on two wheels. Finish your day at one of the world's most historic theme parks: Prater, and eat some schnitzels in the leafy surrounding park.

Day 7: Vienna To Budapest
Location: Vienna, Budapest
Accommodation: Ibis Budapest City South (or similar)
Meals Included: Breakfast

Alright folks, we've well and truly warmed you up. Now the moment we've all been waiting for - our journey to Budapest. And by Budapest we mean Sziget baby!! Island of Freedom, doesn't that have a pretty ring to it? Throw yourself into the sightseeing of the city first, starting with the church of St. Matthias, the Royal Palace and the Chain Bridge to start the trip out right. Blissed out in Budapest - there's an insta caption for you.

Day 8: Budapest - Sziget Festival Day
Location: Budapest
Accommodation: Ibis Budapest City South (or similar)
Meals Included: Breakfast

Wake up and get stuck into your included breakfast. Fun fact #1: Buda and Pest are two different cities separated by a river, together they make Budapest. Fun fact #2: You're going to be head over heels with both of them by the time we scoot outta here. Down goulash and cabbage rolls on today's optional cruise to get into the Hungarian spirit of things and see this beautiful city from the water. Then later, you can step back into the Sziget vibes as the evening approaches. Slow and steady wins the race.

Day 9: Budapest - Sziget Festival Day
Location: Budapest
Accommodation: Ibis Budapest City South (or similar)
Meals Included: Breakfast

They always save the best 'til last! Jump into 5th gear and give the final festival day everything you've got. You can sleep all day tomorrow if your schedule permits.

Day 10: Depart Budapest
Location: Budapest
Meals Included: Breakfast

We've bonded, we've bounced, and we've done Budapest's finest music festival in spectacular fashion. Some might even call us legends. Exchange details and say your teary goodbyes, this 10-days music extravaganza has come to an end.

Sherif was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about every single small detail at each site that we visited. In addition to his great service, he has a glowing spirit that made me feel like I had family with me the entire trip. Anything that I was concerned about, he always had an answer and was there to help. I truly enjoyed my experience and will purchase a tour with him in the future
