This morning, enjoy an included sightseeing tour with a local guide. You will see Broadway, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Wall Street, the 9/11 Memorial, and more. This afternoon, head for Boston—the “Cradle of American Liberty.”

On your morning guided tour of Boston, visit the historic landmarks that have played an important part in the history of the United States. This morning, join your traveling companions on a unique optional excursion to the Érablière le Chemin du Roy Sugar Shack. Visitors to the sugar cabin will enjoy a typical Québec breakfast, along with a guided visit and presentation to explain the process of maple extraction. Afterward, return to Québec City for a guided tour of Canada’s only walled city, crowned by the turrets of Château Frontenac. Until the British victory of 1759, Old Québec was the center of New France; today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Within the walls reside the Place d’Armes, Laval Seminary, the star-plan Citadelle with grand vistas from its bastions, and ancient Place Royale. See the Old-World houses crowding narrow streets in Lower Town and the historic Plains of Abraham, where General Wolfe stormed the slopes. The afternoon is at leisure.

Today, drive to cosmopolitan Montréal, one of Canada’s largest cities and home of Expo ‘67 and the 1976 Summer Olympics. Then reach for the sky on an optional flightseeing tour aboard a helicopter for breathtaking views high above the falls. This morning, stop at the Amish Farm & House where a Local Guide explains the faith, culture, and way of life of these people for whom tradition forbids the use of electricity or telephones in the home. The nation’s capital is a sightseeing treasure trove. Travel north this morning to Philadelphia. Visit Independence National Historical Park, home of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed. Have time to explore these and other places in what is referred to as “America’s Most Historic Square Mile” on your own. This evening, set your sails for dining aboard the Tall Ship Moshulu, the world’s oldest and largest square-rigged sailing vessel still afloat.

Day 15: Philadelphia,New York City

Location: New York City

This morning, enjoy additional sightseeing in the “City of Brotherly Love” before leaving for New York City via Newark International Airport for those with homebound flights. Please schedule flights after 6 pm. For guests with flights out of Kennedy or LaGuardia airports, transfers are not included; we suggest booking flights after 7 pm. The trip ends in Manhattan in the late afternoon for guests on the New York city extension.

We have just returned from a Cosmos tour- Gourmet Tuscany. We stayed in Montecatini Terme and traveled from there to many wonderful places, in towns and the fabulous Tuscan countryside. We visit Vineyards for wine tastings, farms for cooking lessons and lunches and dinners in authentic Italian restaurants. All assisted by a friendly, informative tour director. First class holiday

A wonderrful experience

WE saw so much. The tour director Mladin was very knowledgeable and made the experience so enjoyable. The bus driver Paul was so nice and helpful. A couple of the hotels had no refrigerators to keep the water cold. We had to carry our own luggage to and from the rooms. There should have been porters to help us. Over all we had a great time.

Great organisation, tour guide(Kris) and driver(Tony) who went extra mile and good group of people from all over world. The hotels were excellent in New Orleans and Nashville and very good in other cities. The itinerary was well thought out with visits to Gracelands and Grande ole Oprey topping the bill. We added 3extra nights in New Orleans (giving us 6nights) which was absolutely fab and would advise anyone doing this tour that they consider some extra nights to see and do as much as you can
