From Tangier visiting Chefchaouen, Meknes, Volubilis, Fes, Rabat, Casablanca & Asilah
Abdul was an absolutely incredible guide, being both informative regarding everything about Morocco as well as hilarious and friendly.
His education of Berber cultural history and the formation of Moroccan’s remarkable landscape helped us to better understand everything we were seeing and his excellent care and service allowed us to sit back and fully enjoy our tour.
There were many highlights during our tour, which is a result of the company’s Abdul immense knowledge of Morocco.
I visited with my partner and we both have only good things to say about our tour with Cultural Morocco Tours.
Our tour was a brief desert tour but we saw lots along the way and the itinerary was well suited for our interests.
Abdul is an exemplary driver, guide, and individual and he absolutely made our trip better than our emagination befor we come, We leave morocco with an inforgetable experionce , Highly recommonded; ....less

We have traveled together before in several countries, and between the four of us have visited about 75 countries.
This was our first trip to Morocco.
It took us from Tangier to Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Fes, the Sahara desert camp of Erg Chubby, the Todra Gorge, Dades Valley, Marrakech, and Tangier.
Cultural Tours had been highly recommended to us.
We explored other options.
This turned out to be the best company for service and value.
It was an excellent and extraordinary journey.
Our driver guide throughout the trip was Ismail.
He knew the country and the roads very well, handled the comfortable van with ease, kept us well supplied with water, scheduled stops along the way for our comfort, shared delightful Moroccan music with us as we traveled, had great conversations with us about Morocco culure and life in general, and had a great sense of humour.
He has led many itineraries and styles of tours in Morocco and made us aware of other options that could bring us back to Morocco.
Amanar, the manager of the company, worked with us over several days to design the tour around our interests and schedule.
We really appreciated the opportunity to meet him by surprise and spend time with him a wonderful time.
He showed us various forms of the desert near Erg Chebbi and sipped tea with us in a nomad tent.
After dinner we enjoyed a “Moroccan musical jam sesssion” put on by him and other staff around a fire under the sparkling stars.
Our lodging was always comfortable and interesting - mostly small riads (8-12 guests) in cities or towns, near markets, beside quiet mountain streams, or in a desert tent.
Rooms varied from small to large and all had attached baths.
The hosts were always very hospitable and informative.
There were always options for our meals, whether at the riads or restaurants.
The meals were often set menus with choices for starter, main, and dessert.
When we went out for evening meals on our own there were plenty of food and price choices.
We two couples were each celebrating our 50th anniversaries.
At the end of the dinner in the desert we were presented with a delicious cake with a message of congratulations and candles.
Staff cheered and honoured us.
This was the most dramatic, but only one of many thoughtful arrangements made by this remarkable tour team.
There can be glitches and unexpected changes in even well made plans and well organized tours.
When that happened the difficulties were explained and resolved openly, promptly, and generously.
We highly recommend this company and everyone we met on this wonderful tour.

To say it was a life changing is almost an understatement, I left not only with beautiful memories of the Sahara, Atlas and the medinas with their bustling souks, but with thought provoking conversations and a deep understanding and respect for the Berber and Moroccan culture.
Amanar went out of his way to make this an incredible experience from getting me to the best vantage points in the desert, bursting with an impromptu concert with traditional music, exposing me to the nomadic families, encouraging me to walk a little further and helping me along too to get the best pictures, drawing on the sand a caravan route to explain to me what it would have been like in the bygone days or just simply being as entertaining and knowledgeable about all things from science to philosophy.
He took me to all the local places and I truly felt very local and he also found time to talk about old Berber stories and interesting facts that you would not get from a run of the mill tour.
I travelled as a single female, Amanar offered me the deepest courtesy and respect and not once did I feel unsafe, rather he became the safety net.
Amanar would willingly do things that are so precious, from gifting me with a carpet after my experience buying a carpet was completely ruined, to little snacks for our journey to a very precious necklace that I will always treasure, the Berber symbol for freedom.
Amanar is well respected, and when you tour with him you will see why, as the locals love to chat with him and he has good relationships with everyone and every city and that makes a difference when you're travelling.
Ultimately, I recommend Amanar without reservation and you will absolutely not go wrong with this.
I am in the travel industy myself, and the service Amanar will give you is not only deeply personal, but gratifying and above excellent from the initial booking to creating the overall experience.
Thanks Amanar, I will always remember this trip and you're a big part of it by sharing your culture, traditions, language and aa.
The joy you filled my trip with and the many conversations is absolutely appreciated and I definitely felt the love you have for your people, your culture and your country.
To be honest, no one could have done this trip better! I have never been so moved by my experience that Amanar at marrakech tours gave me.
