Sahara Desert Tour From Marrakesh

Your excellent local knowledge of the country, of the people and traditions, has made us discovering hidden treasures of morocco and experience something that will remain with us forever. We learned more in a 3 day tour than we would have done from any book. Ismail was a great guide, not only does he have a diverse knowledge of his country's history, he is also very proud of its beauty; and this comes across in his speeches. Avoiding these spots would cost you a great many postcard photographs!, gave an interesting talk about the history and many topics. The trip took us through the high Atlas mountains which offered more fantastic views. But the peak of the trip was of course the camel trek in the Sahara! It was bumpy, it hurt and you'll discover leg muscles in places you never knew you had them! But it's a good fun experience which must be done! One of our party decided he would rather walk, and was allowed to without an issue, so don't be afraid to give it a go! The sights are spectacular and our guides stopped at good times and spots for photographing the sunrise which truly was a sight to behold! From a practical standpoint, toilet breaks were frequent, restaurants and hotel well chosen. The latter was very clean and pleasant in a lovely location. Discussing dietary requirements is a must beforehand. Vegetarians are easily catered for. I would definitely recommend this tour and Cultural morocco tours, it was a great 3 days at a good price. A great way to escape the Souks and see the diversity of Morocco outside the city.
