Mardi Himal Trek

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you'll be greeted by your trekking agency representative and transferred to your hotel. After checking in and resting, you'll have a trek briefing to go over the itinerary and important details. If you have time, explore Thamel, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy local Nepali cuisine. You’ll spend the night in Kathmandu, preparing for your trek the next day.

The drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes approximately 6-7 hours, covering a distance of about 200 kilometers. You’ll travel through scenic landscapes, including hills, rivers, and small villages. Along the way, you'll pass through the bustling town of Mugling before heading towards Pokhara. The journey offers beautiful views of the Himalayas, particularly on clear days. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in and rest.

You’ll start with a 30-minute drive from Pokhara to Phedi, the starting point of your trek. From Phedi, begin your hike, which takes around 3-4 hours to reach Pothana. The trail is a steady uphill walk through lush forests, passing through small villages and offering scenic views of the Annapurna range. Upon reaching Pothana, you’ll enjoy the beautiful surroundings and settle into a local teahouse for the night.

The trek from Pothana to Forest Camp takes about 5-6 hours. The trail passes through lush rhododendron forests, offering beautiful views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare mountains. As you ascend, you’ll pass through the villages of Deurali and continue along a gradually uphill path. Forest Camp, a peaceful and serene spot, is the perfect place to rest for the night amidst nature.

The trek from Forest Camp to Low Camp takes about 3-4 hours. The trail gradually ascends through dense rhododendron and pine forests, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. As you approach Low Camp, the forest opens up, providing panoramic views of Machapuchare and the Annapurna range. Low Camp is a great spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful environment before continuing your trek.

The trek from Low Camp to High Camp takes around 3-4 hours. The trail ascends steadily through alpine meadows and sparse forests, with increasingly stunning views of Machapuchare and the Annapurna range. As you gain altitude, the landscape becomes more rugged and open, offering breathtaking vistas. High Camp is a scenic and peaceful spot, where you'll stay overnight, surrounded by impressive mountain views.

The trek from High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp takes about 4-5 hours. The trail ascends through rocky terrain and high-altitude meadows, offering spectacular views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare peaks. Upon reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp, enjoy the panoramic mountain views before returning to Low Camp. The descent back to Low Camp takes about 3-4 hours, passing through alpine meadows and forests, where you’ll rest for the night.

The trek from Low Camp to Sidding takes about 5-6 hours. The trail descends through dense forests and terraced fields, offering scenic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. As you pass through small villages, you’ll experience the local culture and rural life. Sidding is a peaceful village where you’ll rest and enjoy the serene surroundings before continuing your journey.

The drive from Sidding to Pokhara takes approximately 2-3 hours. You’ll travel along a scenic road, passing through rural villages, terraced fields, and lush landscapes. The route offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys as you make your way back to the bustling city of Pokhara, where you’ll relax and unwind after your trek.

The journey offers a peaceful yet picturesque experience as you make your way back to Kathmandu, where you'll arrive and have the rest of the day to relax or explore the city.

On your final day, you’ll be transferred from your hotel to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for your departure. Depending on your flight time, you may have some free time to explore the city or do last-minute shopping. Once at the airport, you’ll check-in for your flight, and your unforgettable Nepal adventure will come to an end as you depart for your onward journey.
