Itinerary
Day 1 : To Murchison Falls National Park For Afternoon Game Drive:
Location: Murchison Falls National Park Uganda
Accommodation: Safari Lodge
Accommodation Name: Paraa Safari Lodge or Pakuba Safari Lodge
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
On this day, you will have your breakfast and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive will take you through Luwero triangle and Budongo forest in the western arm of the Rift Valley where you will also be rewarded with splendid views of the countryside.
You will arrive in the afternoon, have lunch and go for your afternoon game drive where you will expect to see elephant, buffalo, antelopes and giraffe and keep your fingers crossed for lion and leopard. The game track network converges at Delta Point where the Nile flows north out of Lake Albert; this is a convenient place to stop for refreshments and view water birds offshore and distant hippos.
After your Afternoon game drive, you will check in to Paara Safari Lodge (www.marasa.net or www.paaralodge.com) or Pakuba Safari Lodge for your dinner and overnight stay in classic self-contained rooms with private bathroom facilities. The lodge is located in the north-west of Uganda overlooking one of nature's best kept secrets, the River Nile, on its journey from its source at Lake Victoria to join Lake Albert – here it is suddenly channelled into a gorge only six meters wide, and cascades 43 meters below. The earth literally trembles at Murchison Falls - one of the world's most powerful flows of natural water. Paraa Safari Lodge offers a unique blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure. Each of the rooms is a haven of style and serenity, complete with balcony and private bathroom.
All meals and enough drinking water are included.
