Tour Overview
This itinerary is designed to showcase some of Indochina's many UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It combines Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, visiting the beautiful Laotian town of Luang Prabang, Vietnam's Halong Bay & port town of Hoi An, and Cambodia's world famous temples of Angkor Wat to create an unforgettable tour of Southeast Asia. We start this UNESCO Indochina tour in the beautiful town of Luang Prabang in Laos. After enjoying a tour of the town, including palace, museums and temples, and the famous night market, we take a short flight to Vietnam's capital, Hanoi. We then head for the coast and the stunning Halong Bay, where you'll enjoy a cruise around the bay on a traditional junk boat. We then head south to the magical limestone caves and grottos of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Next stop is the imperial city of Hue and the nearby historic trading port of Hoi An, where there is plenty of time to stroll through the mazy streets of this fascinating coastal town. Our final stop is a short flight away near the Cambodia town of Siem Reap, and is arguably the most spectacular. The temples at Angkor are world famous and not without good reason, and we spend a full day exploring the jungle uncovering this vast temple complex. This is a sample private tour itinerary and we can customise the daily itinerary, duration and accommodation levels and styles as much or as little as you wish.
