This 11-day Brazil tour can be customized and begins with a visit to vibrant Rio de Janeiro. Spend 4 nights and see Rio's famous Ipanema and Copacabana beaches and climb famous summits for views from Corcovado Mountain's Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf Mountain. Continue south to colonial Paraty with its white-washed buildings, cobblestone streets, and rich history. Hop on the ferry from the mainland to Ilha Grande, a protected island reserve and some of Brazil's most spectacular beaches. Hike to Lopes Mendes Beach and explore the island's trails by bike or on foot (Ilha Grande is car-less), snorkel, kayak, or simply relax on the beach as you end your Brazil trip. Day 1 : Welcome To Brazil!

Bem-vindo in Brazil! After landing at the international airport of Rio de Janeiro, you will be welcomed and warmly welcomed. On the transfer to the hotel on Copacabana you can get a first impression of the former capital of Brazil, which is wonderfully embedded between numerous hills and bays. From a distance you can certainly take a look at the two landmarks of the city: the statue of Christ and the Sugar Loaf. The rest of the day can be used as freetime.

Day 2 : Visit The Christ The Redeemer Statue

After spending the first night in Rio, you can look forward to the most beautiful moments in the metropolis!

After a delicious breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and start the day on an exciting day. You will first be taken to the top of Mount Corcovado for breathtaking views of the city center. Corcovado is home to the famous statue of Christ that surrounds the city. It is 38 meters high and represents the faith and goodness of Carioca, the people of Rios.

There is a stop to visit the Maracana (outside only) and the opportunity to learn a little about the history of the last phase of the football World Cup in 1950 and 2014.

During this half day tour, you will also see the Selaron Stairs, Sambadrome and the Cathedral.

Recommended: In the evening you can enjoy a typical dinner at the famous churrascaria Carretão do Lido. After that you will take part in the Ginga Tropical Show. The show offers an interactive tour of Brazilian culture through dance, music, and live performances. During this show, talented performers dance lambada, samba and bossa nova, dressed in bizarre carnival costumes. Hear folklore from the diverse country, live drumming and the Brazilian martial art: Capoeira. To book in advance.

Day 3 : With The Cable Car To The Sugar Loaf

Location: Rio de Janeiro

Today you can look forward to a trip to the famous Sugar Loaf and the old town of Rio. After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and start another exciting day in Brazil's mega-metropolis. Two cable cars take you from the Urca district via the Morro de Urca to the Morro de Pão de Açúcar, the Sugar Loaf. This granite block, which is now a symbol of Rio, was called "pau-nh-acuga" by the natives, which means high, pointed mountain. This became "Pão de Açúcar" in Portuguese, meaning carrot. The 360 ° panoramic view from the top of the Sugar Loaf at an altitude of 395 m above sea level is breathtaking. You can look out over the golden beaches, the green rainforest, and a thriving city.

After a guided tour of the Santa Teresa district. Day 4 : Explore The Botanical Garden

Location: Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast, a half-day tour awaits you.

On this tour through the lush Tijuca rainforest, you will visit the Chinese viewpoint with a fantastic view of Copacabana as well as Ipanema Beach, Guanabara Bay and Sugar Loaf Mountain. With a little luck, you might see monkeys, sloths, or topical birds.

You will learn about the Taunay waterfall and visit the beautiful Mayrink Chapel.

We end our tour in the botanical garden. On an area of around 140 hectares, the botanical garden fascinates with its around 6500 plant species. The Rio Botanical Garden is one of the ten most important of its kind in the world. Some of the 128 palm trees in the main avenue "Barbosa Rodrigues" date from the time the garden was created. In addition to numerous greenhouses, orchidariums and rose gardens, a lake with giant aquatic plants, such as the largest water lily in the Amazon, "Vitória Regia", is a main attraction.

Day 5 : Transfer To Paraty And City Tour

Day 6 : Tour Trindade Bay On A Schooner Boat And See Stunning Beaches

Location: Paraty

Breakfast in the pousada and departure to visit Trindade.

Trindade, 24 km from the center of Paraty, is an old fishing village with the most beautiful beaches in the region. During the excursion you will visit the fabulous natural pool of Caixadaço, a rock formation by the sea where you can plunge into its crystal clear waters. You will try the delicious typical Caiçara cuisine with a beautiful sea view!

At the end of the visit, you will return to the structure and the rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 7 : Transfer To Ilha Grande

The Ilha Grande is one of the largest and most famous islands in Brazil and is only 150km from Rio de Janeiro. If islands could speak, then the Ilha Grande would be able to tell us many a twists and turns from its wild past. Because it served as a pirate island and refuge for European pirate ships from an early age. Pirates have fought many bitter fights on their soil and off their coasts. The many wrecks off their coast still bear witness to this today. After its actual development by the Portuguese in the 18th century, the Ilha Grande was far from boring: it became a hub for the slave trade, then a leprosy station, and between 1903 and 1994 the island finally served as a prison: the infamous Cândido-Mendes- Prison made a name for itself especially under the Brazilian military dictatorship.

Today, however, the former pirate island has found its true calling - it is a designated nature reserve, a paradise for ecotourism and attracts with a breathtaking number of dream beaches.
