Day 1 : Rome

Welcome to Rome! Upon your arrival, we’ll be there to transfer you to your hotel. Later, our guide will meet you and provide all the essential information. You can also find details on the information sign in the hotel reception area.In the evening, we’ll take you to Via Cavour, an excellent introduction to Rome. Here, you’ll find a variety of restaurants offering Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international cuisine.
Day 2 : Rome

In the morning, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour of Italy’s capital, the Eternal City, one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. We’ll combine a walking tour with a panoramic bus ride. During the walking tour, we´ll admire the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum (from the outside), and the impressive Imperial Forums. After that, we’ll continue by bus, exploring this open-air-museum city with majestic basilicas and churches, passing by Tiber Island, Lungotevere Avenue, and Castel Sant´Angelo. The tour will finish at Vatican City, an independent state within Rome and the center of the Catholic Church. The afternoon will be free. We recommend visiting St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums.In the evening, we’ll provide a transfer to Trastevere, perfect for a leisurely stroll through its charming, narrow cobblestone streets. This district is rich in hidden gems, from quaint medieval churches and quirky shops selling unique items to everyday scenes of local life. You’ll find many trattorias (casual eating establishments, typically less formal than a ristorante) and osterias (similar to taverns), each exuding Italian charm and ready to serve you authentic local dishes. Additionally, the area offers a variety of restaurants serving Indian, Chinese, and international cuisine. We’ll return to the hotel at the end of the evening.
Day 3 : Rome, Pisa, Sestri Levante, Blue Coast

We´ll leave Rome and head towards northern Italy. Our first stop will be in Pisa, where we’ll take a short train ride from the tourist car park to the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, home to the iconic Leaning Tower. Lunch will be included. We’ll continue our journey through stunning Mediterranean scenery, making a brief stop in Sestri Levante, a quaint tourist seaside town. We’ll then proceed to the French Riviera, arriving in Nice in the late afternoon.Note: On some dates, accommodation may be arranged near Nice on the French Riviera.
Day 4 : Blue Coast, Sainte Maxime, Saint Tropez, Marseille

Today, we’ll explore the Côte d´Azur and the Mediterranean coast of France. We’ll spend a short time in Nice to enjoy the Promenade des Anglais (Walkway of the English) and other sights of interest. Next, we’ll head to Sainte-Maxime, a charming coastal town where we’ll stroll through its port and historic center, highlighted by the 16th-century the Square Tower. From there, we’ll take a tourist boat across the beautiful bay to Saint-Tropez, where we’ll be able to see some of the world’s most luxurious yachts in the old fishing port. We’ll have time to stroll and have lunch. Our journey will then continue to Marseille, France’s second-largest city, to visit the vibrant Vieux-Port (Old Port).
Day 5 : Marseille, Arles, Avignon, Lyon

Villages, landscapes, history – today we’ll see some of the most beautiful places in Provence. In Arles, a UNESCO World Heritage city, we’ll explore its Roman and medieval legacy and be reminded of Van Gogh. In Les Baux, we’ll visit this small medieval village and include admission to Carrières de Lumières, an impressive underground show that combines art, image, and sound in its old quarries. We’ll have time for lunch and a stroll in Avignon, home to the immense Palais des Papes. Our journey will continue to Lyon, where we’ll walk through the World Heritage Site old town and take the cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière, a huge basilica offering a great view over the city.Note: If tickets for the Carrières de Lumières show are unavailable due to closure or high demand, we will instead transfer to the Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard.
Day 6 : Lyon, Tournus, Savigny Castle, Beaune, Dijon

We’ll set off from Lyon and head to the Burgundy region. Our first stop will be Tournus, a quaint little town with an imposing stone gate and a large abbey. After that, we’ll travel to Beaune, where we’ll have time for lunch and to explore the wine capital of Burgundy. We recommend visiting the wine museum or the historic hospice. Next, we’ll visit the Savigny Castle, situated in the heart of this winemaking region. Built in the 15th century, the castle houses extraordinary museums featuring motorbikes, racing cars, planes, and helicopters. Our journey will continue to Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, known for its lively streets and numerous medieval and Renaissance buildings, including the standout Palace of the Dukes.
Day 7 : Dijon, Abbey Of Fontenay, Semur En Auxois, Vezelay, Paris

We’ll leave Dijon for Fontenay Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we’ll include admission to this Cistercian center. Afterward, we’ll stop in Semur-en-Auxois, a medieval city surrounded by impressive ancient walls. Still in Burgundy, we’ll have time for lunch and a stroll in Vézelay, one of France’s most beautiful villages, where its immense basilica was one of the starting points of the Way of St. James. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our route to Paris, arriving in the evening.
