Day 1 : Nairobi To Masai Mara

Location: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., there will be a pick up from the hotel and you will depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for refueling and lunch. Proceed to the game reserve arriving around 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at camp. You will have a little siesta and then later proceed on to the first introduction game viewing in Masai Mara game reserve. After that, you will be returning back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Masai Mara Migration Watch

Location: Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, while looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 3 : Depart To Lake Nakuru Park

Day 5 : Amboseli Safari

It will be a day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, and birds can also be seen and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. There will be picnic lunches. You will then return to overnight at the camp.

Day 6 : Arusha

Location: Arusha

There will be an early morning game viewing and then you will return to the camp for a full breakfast. You will then check out and proceed to Namanga border after the immigration process and catch the shuttle bus to Arusha. You will be met there by a guide and transferred to Arusha Center Inn Hotel booked for bed and breakfast. Today, you may choose a dinner at your own leisure.

Day 7 : Depart To Tarangire National Park

Location: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Day 8 : Depart To Ngorongoro Crater

Our journey began in the legendary Masai Mara, where the vast savannah stretched as far as the eye could see. Our knowledgeable guide navigated us through the plains, ensuring we witnessed the spectacle of the Great Migration. The sight of thousands of wildebeests and zebras thundering across the Mara River was a breathtaking scene that will forever be etched in my memory. Camping under the starlit sky amidst the sounds of the wilderness added a sense of authenticity to the experience. Next, we ventured to Lake Nakuru, a paradise for bird enthusiasts and wildlife lovers alike. Just returned from 10 day wildebeest safari Kenya. The positives - [ ] We stayed in wonderful hotels - [ ] Saw so many animals and birds, much more than we could have ever imagined. - [ ] Driver waiting at airport for transfer to hotel and departure - [ ] Ben, our driver, for the whole trip, was fantastic, he has a wealth of knowledge with 18 years safari experience knows about all the animals, parks, culture and areas we visited. - [ ] Ben always arrived early for every excursion and ensured we were happy and safe. So if you book, make sure you ask for Ben as your driver. - [ ] As most of the hotels served buffet meals, it was easy for me to choose the vegan options. The negatives - [ ] And this is a huge negative. Twice on safari when the top was open it snapped shut when going over bumps. Fortunately, both times we was sitting down. As there are some people who stand whilst being driven around the parks, the consequences could have been serious or even fatal. - [ ] Some days we had 6-8 hours on the road, this was not pleasant nor that comfortable with no air conditioning, as the Toyota Safari Land Cruiser, was very old. I called it the bone shaker. - [ ] Also we was requested to bring $US to pay for the trip, so they saved on the credit card fees. Which I understand, just sounds unprofessional. Having said all of this, we did have a wonderful trip, and I would have given 5⭐️ but the above negatives is why the 3 star ⭐️ rating. Hopefully these comments are taken on board, and transport is improved for future trips.

I would warn against booking...

I would warn against booking with this company. I felt unsafe on this trip, particularly once the safari moved from the portion in Kenya to the portion in Tanzania- to the extent that I ended my trip four days early I was frequently handed off between different guides and drivers without a secure way of confirming who was affiliated with the company and who wasn't, and was sometimes left without a guide or driver at all. At the Namanga border crossing I was left by my driver/guide and a local was paid to see me through the process and onto the shuttle to Arusha, Tanzania. I didn't have service in the area, and if anything had gone wrong had no way to contact anyone. I did not know who I would be meeting in Tanzania or have a way to reach them or know when they would be picking me up. Once I was in Tanzania, my itinerary was changed so that I could be shuffled to join other drivers and tour groups. While I was still slated to visit the same places in the end, changing the order meant that my family and friends at home would not know where I was on a given day, which made me uncomfortable as a young, solo female traveler. Because I was being passed between groups, I also didn't know who my driver would be, where I would be going on a given day, or who might contact me with this information and when. When I contacted the company with concerns they didn't see these issues as valid. Part of the reason I booked this specific tour was because it is advertised as vegan-friendly. Despite letting the company know in advance that I was vegan I was frequently unable to eat anything besides fruit and juice, and had to re-explain what my diet was over and over again. Two days into the trip I contacted the company about this and never received a response. I think it's dishonest to advertise this tour as vegan-friendly. The guides and drivers were all friendly and honestly trying to help solve my problems, admitting that the way things were being handled was far from ideal, and I saw many beautiful animals, but I don't feel like this was enough to overcome the company's mismanagement. Other travelers I was with were in similar situations, with their itineraries being changed last minute and sometimes prices being increased beyond expected while they were already on the tour, or having their lodgings changed to cheaper options after they had already paid. *I found this tour through TourRadar, and though they asked for my review the review I submitted never appeared on the site.
