Itinerary

Day 1: UK/Ireland - Night on board

Arrive at your UK/Ireland departure airport ready to check-in for an overnight flight to Buenos Aires. Night on board.

If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.


Day 2: Buenos Aires

Arrive in Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel. Spend the day discovering the vibrant capital, a sprawling city, full of colonial architecture and vibrant culture. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.

* If your flight arrives in the early hours of the morning, and you wish to have your room available before 3:00 p.m, you can book early check-in in the next step of the booking process.


Day 3: Buenos Aires

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day on an included tour exploring the charming corners of the city. The city is known as the birthplace of the Tango. Explore the contrasting neighbourhoods: the colourful houses of La Boca, the culture of La Recoleta, the old town, San Telmo or the young, vibrant neighbourhood of Puerto Madero. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.

* Optional Dinner & Tango Show: An immersive evening of Argentinian food and arts at the Dinner and Tango Show. Price per person: £69.


Day 4: Buenos Aires

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a day at your leisure, revisiting your favourite spots in the city or discovering the fantastic shopping opportunities. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.

* Optional Half-Day Excursion to the Tiger Delta: Discover the landscapes that Buenos Aires offers from the Río de la Plata and visit charming San Isidro, a town of great historical and architectural importance. On the Delta, take a boat and discover what life is like in this area of islands. Admire the amazing houses and mansions located in the ravines on the shore and enjoy views of the Cathedral of San Isidro; the Port of Olivos; the Monumental stadium of River and the University City of Buenos Aires. Return to Buenos Aires. Price per person: £58.


Day 5: Buenos Aires - Iguazu

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Iguazu, home of the most astounding waterfalls in the world. Arrive and transfer to your hotel and the rest of the day is free. If your arrival time allows, we suggest enjoying a bike ride through the jungle or simply relaxing in the beautiful natural setting. Overnight stay in Iguazu.


Day 6: Iguazu

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls on this included excursion by taking the train to the 'Devil's Throat' where a lookout area grants the opportunity to watch the water rush from the river and down an 80 metre (262 feet) high sheer drop. Walk across bridges and enjoy the panoramic views on offer. Hear the roar of water whilst contemplating spectacular views of rainbows, birds, leafy green exotic plants and trees. * Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Iguazu.

* Optional Iguazu Great Adventure: Enter the jungle by the Yacaratiá trail in trucks specially designed for this environment. This 5 km long stretch ends at Puerto Macuco. At the dock, board a boat that sails in the Lower Iguazu River for as long as 6 km, heading towards the waterfalls area, enjoying plentiful rapids. Upon reaching the Tres Mosqueteros Fall, see the falls of both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides crowned by the view of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). Afterwards, the most exciting point comes when facing the incomparable San Martín waterfall, the hugest any boat may face. If you choose to take the optional, it will replace a part of the included tour on this day. Price per person: £67.


Day 7: Iguazu

Breakfast at the hotel. Take an included excursion to the waterfalls on the Brazilian side of the border for a different perspective of this wonder of nature and for a chance to see some unforgettable panoramic views of the thundering falls and the lush landscapes that surround them. Return to the Argentinian side for your overnight stay in Iguazu.


Day 8: Iguazu - Manaus

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Manaus. On arriving in Manaus, transfer to the hotel and enjoy some free time to relax. If your arrival time allows, we suggest taking a trip to Ponta Negra beach. Take a stroll along the boardwalk and marvel at the beautiful contrast between the golden sands and black waters of the Rio Negro. A perfect place to watch the sunset. Overnight stay in Manaus.


Day 9: Manaos - Amazon

Breakfast at the hotel. Today is the day you finally fulfil one of your travel dreams: to stay in the Amazon rainforest! The most diverse rainforest on the planet, get ready to delve into the world of the Amazon. From Manaus, take a boat transfer to the Amazon Eco Park, where you'll be greeted by a warm welcome. During your full-board stay, the Amazon lodge offers and organises all kinds of activities for its adventurous visitors, carried out by professional guides who can point out the biodiversity of the forest and the most fascinating wildlife. The lodge itself has more than 10km of trails to allow visitors to explore the jungle. On a nature walk, you can get to know the exotic orchids, giant trees and different animals, whilst searching for edible fruits and medicinal plants. If you're particularly daring, a Piranha Fishing excursion or a Night-Time nature hike might be to your liking! Overnight stay in the Amazon.

Day 10: Amazon

Full-Board. The day is yours to choose from different excursions and activities to suit your interests. We recommend visiting the 'Monkey Forest' for an unforgettable day meeting the monkeys who have been rescued from floods or fires and are undergoing rehabilitation before they return home to the wild. You'll be amazed at the sheer number of different species that the 200 monkeys belong to, ranging from spider monkeys to squirrel and capuchin monkeys. It's hard not to fall in love with these intelligent and beautiful creatures. Return to the lodge. In the evening, the most adventurous should take the opportunity to embark on an exciting night boat exploration. In the darkness, the cacophony of wildlife sounds surround you and, with the help of a powerful lamp, you will be guided to observe the nocturnal wildlife. Look out for silent alligators that stand deadly still, their heads just slightly above the surface of the water. However you spend your time in the Amazon, it is sure to be unforgettable! Overnight stay in the Amazon.

Day 11: Amazon - Manaus - Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast at the lodge. Today, it's time to say goodbye to the Amazon, with fond memories of the adventures you had in the midst of the rainforest. Take a boat transfer back Manaus and transfer to the airport to take a flight to Rio de Janeiro. Arrive in the vibrant city of Rio, transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Rio.


Day 12: Rio de Janeiro

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, set off on a day of discovery in Rio de Janeiro. Embark on a tour of Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer, a true symbol of the city. Board a cog-wheel train from Cosme Velho Station for an exciting ride to the top of Corcovado Mountain, with spectacular views along the way. Visit Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and soak up the panoramic views. It's the perfect photo opportunity! After the visit, descend again by train and finish the tour at Rio's world-famous beaches. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to enjoy this vibrant city! Overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro.

Please note: In case of inoperability of the train, the ascent to the Corcovado is made by road in vans, certified by the city administration, which depart from different districts of the city and take passengers directly to the monument.


Day 13: Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at your leisure, relaxing at your own pace, or enjoy an optional excursion to Sugar Loaf Moutain for an unforgettable view of the city.* Overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro.

* Optional Sugar Loaf Mountain Excursion: Begin with a panoramic tour of downtown Rio to see the Metropolitan Cathedral and the iconic Selaron Steps. Next, head to the neighbourhood of Urca to take a cable car up to the iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain, where amazing views of the city, Corcovado Mountain and Copacabana await you. It's the perfect backdrop for a memorable photo! Price per person: £62.


Day 14: Rio de Janeiro - Night on board

Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for a flight to the UK/Ireland. Night on board.


Day 15: UK/Ireland

Arrive in the UK/Ireland and end your trip.
