Day 1: UK/Ireland - Guatemala City

Arrive at your UK/Ireland departure airport, ready for a flight* to Guatemala City. Arrive in Guatemala City, the capital of Guatemala, known for its volcanoes, mountainous location and Inca heritage. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Guatemala City.

Day 2: Guatemala City - Quiriguá - Rio Dulce

The reserve has more than 50 species of trees, some of which are 450 years old. Spend some time exploring the abundant cloud forests of Biotopo and get to know the native wildlife that inhabits the reserve. At the indicated time, transfer to Guatemala City. After an earthquake in 1773, the city was uninhabited the population moved to what is now Guatemala City. Visit La Merced church, Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral.
