What an amazing company

15-Nov-2019

Someone in the guest house recommended me Global Adventure Trekking, so I decided to contact them. There are many Trekking agencies around Thamel, but I would highly recommend this one. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. They recommended me to go for the Everest Base Camp and Gokyo (16 days trek) and I cannot be more happy about my experience. My guide Dipendra (Dip) was amazing and truly made my trek memorable! He was very knowledgeable about the mountains and culture, and we enjoyed learning from the culture of the other (as I am Spanish). He gave me advice on altitude sickness when I felt unwell and that made me feel safe and extremely comfortable in his presence. I would highly recommend this company to all trekkers. Everything went very smoothly, and they were instrumental in ensuring that we had an excellent time in Nepal! They are extremely professional and all the staff speak good English. Thanks, Global Adventure Trekking. Muchas gracias, Cristian.

Excellent experience in EBC trekking

19-Nov-2020

I want to thank and totally recommend global adventure Trekking for the trekking I did to Everest base camp. Krishna, the owner of the agency, is an ex-guide in the Himalayas and the type of person you would like to meet in Kathmandu before booking your tour. He is always attentive and sincere for all your doubts and requests. Also, I would like to thank and congratulate our guides, Bhola and Madhab. They were definitely very important for a great time we had there! Totally recommended GAT

Incredible EBC Trek (December 2019) with Guide

20-jan-2020

I recently completed the EBC Trek (10 days) with my guide Krishna Simkhada ("Kris") at the end of December. I had an incredible experience and largely attribute that to Kris! He was an amazing guide - extremely knowledgeable (20+ years of experience, completely fluent in English), friendly, and patient. Krishna Dahal, the owner of Global Adventure Trekking, had promised me their best guide - and I definitely think that they delivered! Kris was very attentive and always prepared; he was alert and ready to address any issues or questions at any time. Having encountered many other guides and groups during the trek, I am confident that Kris is among the best. I'd also like to thank our porter Dil, who was just as friendly, hardworking, and warm. Given I was doing this trek as a solo female, I was extra careful in selecting a guide and company; the team certainly delivered. I never felt unsafe or uncertain about our next steps - all I had to do was concentrate on appreciating the amazing beauty of the Himalayas. I'm so thankful that I completed this once in a lifetime experience with Kris and Dil. I would highly recommend them for any future treks in Nepal.
