Day 1 : Arrival - Los Angeles
Location: Los Angeles International Airport, Santa Monica

Arrival in Los Angeles. Make your way to your hotel on your own. Your local tour director will be at the hotel in the evening to answer any initial questions about the tour. Enjoy a welcome drink and receive a re-useable water bottle for use during your trip.
Day 2 : Santa Monica

This morning, replenish the mind and body with a yoga lesson on the beach.
Later this morning, you will set out on a walking tour of Santa Monica, beautiful seaside city, with miles of beach, exciting outdoor activities and cultural experiences for all ages. Santa Monica blends an unmistakable California beach town vibe with touches of Riviera-style romance and Hollywood glamour. Hightlights of the tour will include the 3rd St Promenade (an open air shopping arcade) and the Santa Monica Pier.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Optional: Get out in the glimmering Pacific Ocean as you take part in a 2 hour surf lesson.
Day 3 : Santa Monica – Santa Barbara – San Luis Obispo (190 Miles / 3H20)

Morning drive to lovely Santa Barbara known for its golden beaches, palm-lined bay, red-tiled roofs and Spanish architecture. Enjoy a brief guided tour of town including a stop at the magnificent Santa Barbara Courthouse.
Next, you will enjoy a guided meditation class in a restorative salt cave. The air in the cave is infused with micro-salt particles that impart a therapeutic benefit when inhaled. Halotherapy, simply breathing in air saturated with salt particles, is known to be a natural and effective way to improve respiratory health. Free time for lunch.

Day 4 : San Luis Obispo –Big Sur – Monterey (150 Miles / 3H45)

Start the day with a hike in Montana de Oro State Park. The park's name, "Mountain of Gold," comes from the golden wildflowers that bloom in spring. The park trails traverse rugged cliffs, secluded beaches, coastal plains, streams, canyons, and hills. Wildlife in the park includes the black tailed deer and the black oystercatcher.
Stop in the seaside town of Morro Bay. Lunch on your own. Enjoy a stroll along the embarcadero with views upon the water. In the distance you will see Morro Bay Rock, home to a wide variety of birds and of course sealions.
You will then drive along the superb Big Sur coastline: the majestic Santa Lucia range gives way to dramatic cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Stops will be made along the way to snap some pictures and soak up the scenery.
Continue towards the Monterey Peninsula. Tour of the town of Monterey, particularly the fishing port and Cannery Row, made famous by the writer John Steinbeck. Overnight.
Day 5 : Monterey – San Francisco

Today you will visit Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, famous for the 40-acre grove of towering old-growth redwood trees. These skyscraping redwoods were admired by explorer John C. Frémont, along with President Theodore Roosevelt, and inspired some of California’s earliest redwood preservation efforts. Take a walk beyond the redwood grove and you’ll find four diverse habitats that this park preserves: grasslands, river/riparian, sandhills, and redwoods. The tallest tree in the park is approximately 277 feet tall, about 16 feet wide, and around 1,500 years old.
Make a stop for lunch (not included) in the laid back beach town of Santa Cruz.
This afternoon, you will continue on to San Francisco. Guided tour of San Francisco, one of the most photographed, filmed, and documented cities in the world. The city is a a tantalizing mix of history, modern sophistication, and stunning natural beauty. Stop at Alamo Square, where you will see the best examples of San Francisco's iconic Victorian homes, the “Painted Ladies.” You will then see Union Square, Little Italy and Chinatown. Overnight.
Day 6 : San Francisco

This morning, you will enjoy a guided bike ride along the waterfront and across the world famous Golden Gate Bridge. Enjoy a stunning view of the city skyline and Alcatraz from the bridge. Your tour will end in Sausalito, famous for it’s waterfront cafés, art galleries, and charming house boats.
After some free time to explore Sausalito, you will return to San Francisco by ferry. You will arrive in the restored Ferry Building, where you will be given time at leisure to explore the Farmer’s Market and enjoy lunch on your own.
Rest of the day at leisure to do some shopping, visit one of the city’s world-class museums, or recharge in the natural beauty of Golden Gate Park.
Day 7 : San Francisco / Departure
Location: San Francisco International Airport

Day at leisure. Make your way to the airport on your own. End of services.

USA entry requirements related to COVID-19
You will find below a summary of the entry requirements related to COVID-19 (updated on May 27, 2022).
USA:
-All travellers arriving by air are required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 except children under 18 years of age*
-All travellers are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel except children under 2 years old
-If a traveller recently recovered from COVID-19, they may instead travel with documentation of recovery from COVID-19 (i.e., positive COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that they were cleared to travel).
Exception: COVID-19 testing is not required for entry via a land or ferry port of entry, for example when crossing the Canadian border. Vaccination is still required.
Additional information: on May 26th, the fee for travellers intending to travel to the USA with an approved ESTA has increased from $14 to $21. In addition, since May 2nd, an ESTA is required to enter the USA by land. Until now, travellers could cross the border by filling out an I-94W form and paying $7 at the border crossing.
