Arriving at Fes airport, it will be our first meeting to start your journey with us, first we will take you to your Riad/ hotel to get some rest.

Departing from Fes, our next destination is Ifrane, renowned as the "Lion City" due to mythical tales of the last lion sighting in the country. Ifrane is distinguished by its alpine-style architecture, proximity to ski slopes, and expansive woodlands. ­ Our itinerary includes a visit to Ifrane National Park, where Atlas cedar forests flourish and rare Barbary macaques inhabit the region around Azrou. Continuing our journey, we'll pass through Midelt, acclaimed for its sprawling farmlands and renowned as the "apple capital" due to its superior apple varieties and extensive orchards. ­ Our route then leads us towards the gateway to the desert via the towns of Rissani and Erfoud. Here, we'll embark on either a camel ride or a 4×4 adventure to reach the desert camp in time to witness the breathtaking sunset. As evening falls, we'll unwind by the campfire, accompanied by traditional music beneath the starlit sky. You'll have some personal time and a private tent for the night.

This is the day we enter the Sahara proper. There is not a long distance to travel (approx 2hrs), so the morning is free to relax at your hotel after the long road-trip yesterday. After lunch at your hotel, we follow the River Ziz through the Tafilalt Oasis and towards Rissani, the last market town of any size before the sands of the Sahara. There are interesting fossil workshops and an archaeological museum to visit along the way. You may also take the circuit Touristique that detours via crumbling mud-built villages, kasbahs and palm-groves which mark the site of the ancient ruined site of Sijilmassa – once the richest city in North Africa that built its wealth from the trade caravans and gold. You may also find time to visit the shrine or Zaouia of Moulay Ali Shereef outside Rissani, which is open to non-Muslims and has fine mosaic and carved plaster interiors to admire. By the end of the afternoon, you reach the desert at Merzouga, a small settlement on the edge of Erg Chebbi dunes. You can choose to spend the night here in either standard or luxury class bivouac deep in the dunes, or you can sleep in a kasbah-style hotel, traditional riad/auberge or even a mud-built eco-lodge at the edge of the dunes. We recommend camping out in the desert to truly appreciate the special atmosphere of the desert and to view the incredible constellations of stars and the unforgettable sunrise over the dunes. For those opting to experience the tranquility of the dunes, then the final leg of your journey is by camel! The night under stars at Berber traditional camp (bed+dinner+breakfast).

Early breakfast in the desert camp in the Heart of Sahara desert and return by camel to meet your 4×4 vehicle. After our night under the desert stars, we drive from Merzouga Village via the ochre cliffs of the Todra Gorges, Todra Valley, Dades Valley and into the Dades Gorges. Our route is an ancient one and encompasses the Oasis of Tafilalet and the road and Valleys of Thousands Kasbahs. The Todra Gorges and Dades gorges, with the high Atlas Mountains to the north and the Jbel Saghro range to the south, give us a glimpse of another type of Moroccan scenery – no less spectacular, although very different to what we have seen on previous days. The Rivers Todra and Dadès provide water for a series of oasis and palms in the region and we will have time to explore in the shade of the date palms and olive groves that line the riverbanks. Our day ends in the Dades Gorges, where we will spend the night either in a charming guest-house which clings to the steep cliffs or in an authentic converted kasbah in the Dades Valley with exquisite facilities and African-themed rooms. Night in the traditional Riad (bed+dinner+breakfast).

Following breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive to Ouarzazate, traversing the picturesque Dades Valley adorned with its striking rock formations and historic kasbahs. Our route then leads us through the enchanting Rose Valley, famed for its fragrant damask roses, typically harvested in April. ­ As we continue our expedition, we'll arrive at Ouarzazate, often dubbed as African Hollywood, renowned for its bustling film industry. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore the majestic Taourirt Kasbah and take a captivating tour of the movie studios, gaining insight into the filmmaking process. Afterward, we'll check into our hotel to unwind and rest.

­Following breakfast at your riad, we'll journey towards Marrakech, making a memorable stop at the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest kasbah in Morocco. This historic site has served as the backdrop for numerous famous films including "The Gladiator," "Game of Thrones," "Lawrence of Arabia," and "The Jewel of the Nile. ­ Continuing our drive, we'll traverse the stunning Tichka Pass en route to Marrakech. Upon our arrival in the early evening, you'll have some free time to explore the vibrant city at your leisure. You'll then settle in for an overnight stay, ready to embrace the charm and allure of Marrakesh.

After breakfast, a guided tour of Marrakech awaits, featuring an array of captivating attractions: ­ Begin with a visit to the Saadian Tombs, dating back to the reign of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur (1578-1603), showcasing intricate architectural craftsmanship and historical significance. ­ Explore the Ben Youssef Medersa, founded by Sultan "Abou el Hassan" in 14th-century, renowned for its exquisite Islamic architecture and spiritual ambiance. ­ Marvel at the El Bahia Palace, a breathtaking testament to 19th-century Eastern architecture, adorned with ornate decorations and tranquil courtyards. ­ Admire the grandeur of the Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech's largest mosque, featuring a majestic minaret built under the reign of Almohad Caliph Yaqub al-Mansur (1184-1199), which served as a model for architectural masterpieces in Seville and Rabat. ­ Discover the enchanting Majorelle Gardens, a botanical oasis crafted by Jacques Majorelle and famously restored by Yves Saint Laurent, boasting vibrant flora and artistic splendor. ­ Conclude your tour in the bustling medina district, where you'll immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa, Marrakech's iconic market square, brimming with lively stalls, street performers, and cultural delights. ­ Spend the night in the enchanting city of Marrakech, filled with memories of its rich history and vibrant culture.

Here, you'll have the opportunity to visit one of the women's cooperatives, witnessing the traditional, manual process of producing argan oil. ­ Upon arrival in Essaouira, you'll have ample time to explore this charming blue and white city nestled along the Atlantic Ocean. With its rich history of diverse cultural influences, Essaouira promises a captivating experience as you wander through its labyrinthine streets and soak in its unique atmosphere.

You can have some free time in the morning to get some souvenirs from essaouira, then we will drive to Casablanca. arrive and overnight stay at your accommodation.

after breakfast, our journey commences with a visit to Casablanca, beginning at Mohamed V Square, established in 1916 during the early era of French colonialism. ­ We'll then proceed to explore the vibrant Corniche, followed by a stop at Rick's Café, famously known for its association with the classic American romantic drama film "Casablanca" from 1942. Our tour continues with a visit to the majestic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques globally, showcasing stunning architectural grandeur. ­ Next, we'll depart for the Moroccan political capital, Rabat, which overlooks the sea. Upon arrival, marvel at the expansive red ochre crenelated walls, spanning over 5 kilometers and dating back to the period of Sultan Yacoub al Mansur. We'll navigate through the medina and its bustling souks before visiting the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of the Udayas. ­ Our exploration then takes us to the iconic Hassan Tower, renowned for its unique facade adorned in shades of pink and gray, reflecting the sea breeze. Our journey continues to Tangier, where the Mediterranean Sea converges with the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Spartel. Tangier, originally built by colonial Portuguese, boasts a rich history and vibrant cultural scene. ­ Upon arrival, we'll explore the bustling medina, renowned as an art hub, and marvel at the well-preserved 15th-century ramparts and gates that encircle the old town. Admire the captivating artwork adorning the walls of the ancient streets. ­ We'll visit notable landmarks such as San Bartolome, a colonial Moorish-style church, and El Hamra, a charming tower constructed by the Portuguese in the 15th century. ­ You'll then have some free time to explore Tangier at your leisure, immersing yourself in its lively atmosphere and soaking in the coastal charm. Settle in for an overnight stay, captivated by the allure of Tangier's unique blend of history and culture.

Following an early breakfast at your riad, we'll embark on our journey to Fes, making memorable stops along the way. ­ Our first destination is Volubilis, where your knowledgeable local guide will lead you through the extensive Roman ruins. Marvel at the well-preserved mosaics dating back to the 2nd century B.C., offering a glimpse into ancient Roman life in this historic site. ­ Continuing our journey, we'll arrive at Meknes, one of Morocco's imperial cities and a former capital during the 17th century.
