During the day, take a walk along the Promenade des Anglais, which stretches over 2.5 miles. You will bump into all types of people, such as cyclists and skateboarders.

Its getting near the end sadly - and this is your 2nd last journey. Just short of 6hrs normally the Berlin to Amsterdam is a great taste of the modern German rail network. Its also a wonderful opportunity to take in the Dutch countryside! The time will fly :-)

The last stop on your interrailing route around Europe's glorious cities is Amsterdam, often referred to as 'Venice of the North'. The capital of the Netherlands is a city on everyone's bucket list, and I think it's safe to say you need to visit the Dam at least once in your life! From unconventional restaurants, local craft beers to world-class museums, it's easy to see why it's at the top of everyone's list. Don't forget that this city has more bicycles than people, therefore the only way to explore is in true Netherlands style!

Its your last journey :-( and depending on your timeslot its either a direct trip back to London or via Brussels for a change over. Its also a 2nd chance to enjoy the Eurostar on your way back to the UK :-)
