South Africa Adventure

Welcome to Johannesburg! We’ll meet you at the airport and take you to our accommodation. You’ll have time to relax before meeting up with your new group of mates, and this evening we’ll head out for dinner, taking in the sites of JoBurg and getting excited for adventures yet to come.

This morning we’re off to explore the town of Soweto with a bus and walking tour. We’ll visit the beautifully designed Apartheid Museum or Mandela’s House depending on availability. We'll later head out for some drinks at the best watering holes around!

We’ll depart early towards Kruger National park, making our way along the famous Panorama Route to see some of Africa’s most unique landscapes before checking in to our accommodation nestled in the valley.

After breakfast we’re on our way to Kruger National Park, hopefully getting our first glimpses at wildlife as we head to our unique huts in a secluded corner of the park. Tonight we put our skills to the test, assisting the chefs in preparing a traditional South African braai (BBQ dinner), a hearty feast perfect to get us ready for tomorrow’s safari!

Today it’s time to tick off that bucket list with an open vehicle game drive through Kruger National Park! Have your camera ready whilst looking out for prides of lions, herds of elephants, solitary leopards, rhinos and masses of buffalo, all with experienced guides who’ll make sure we have the best experience possible. Tonight our guide will show us how to make traditional stork brood (stick bread) to enjoy along another BBQ over the fire before spending the night gazing up at an infinite, starry sky.

This morning we’ll cross the border to Eswatini, a small landlocked nation that hosts Hlane Royal National Park. This evening is another chance to spot your favourite animals on a sunset game drive through the grasslands, then tonight we’ll have dinner and chill for the evening.

Today we re-enter South Africa and continue south towards Pongolapoort Nature Reserve, taking in the breathtaking views. After checking in to camp we’ll be taken to a local village to discover the region’s traditional way of life. We’ll then watch the sun set over the mighty Lake Jozini whilst one of the friendly locals tells us stories around the campfire with an authentic Zulu meal.

Today we’ll head to the coast and check in to our beachside lodge. This afternoon opt to relax by the hotel pool or chill on the sandy beach. Tonight we’ll indulge in a South African delicacy - Bunny Chow, an authentic fast food. Think a loaf of bread filled curry… it’s something you have to try!

We’re off early this morning to catch our short flight to Cape Town. Sandwiched between the slopes of Table Mountain and the glistening sapphire waters of Table Bay, this scenic city boasts vibrant nightlife, extraordinary architecture, world-class beaches, quirky cosmopolitan flair, and more. This afternoon we rise to the heavens as we summit the iconic Table Mountain (weather permitting). Crisp air accompanies dramatic scenic views, earning Table Mountain its title as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, and we’ll soak up a stunning sunset over the majestic natural amphitheatre. This evening we’ll make our way to the V&A Waterfront to stroll, shop, visit a brewery and take in the views.

Today we’re off on a walking tour of Bo-Kaap, a neighbourhood known for its brightly coloured houses, the oldest mosque in South Africa, and spicy Cape Malay cuisine. After stretching our legs we’ll continue exploring with a drive past the Houses of Parliament, the City Hall, District 6 Museum, Slave Lodge, The Castle, and Cape Town Stadium. Later we’ll stroll Sea Point Promenade to soak up the fresh air and crashing waves whilst taking in the sights of Cape Town’s most popular outdoor exercise space. We’ll end the evening sipping on an included cocktail at Cafe Neo whilst watching the sun sink below the horizon, ending another brilliant day in Africa.

Gear up for a day of adventure as we explore the dramatic beaches and cliffs of Cape Peninsula. We’ll go on a cruise to get up close and personal with wild fur seals, stop for photos at the impressive Chapman’s Peak, then explore the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and hang out with a colony of wild African Penguins on Boulders Beach. Tonight we’re out for our farewell dinner in a funky restaurant.
