Connect on a small 20-minute scenic flight along the coats to Dangriga Town and by road to our lodge within the boundaries of Bocawina Rainforest National Park. Stay as active as you want while you enjoy 3 days and nights exploring the jungle trials, waterfalls and pools, zipping and rappelling and then a full off day to the South to learn about Mayan culture, chocolate and how spices are grown. Then travel to Glover’s Atoll, a protected marine park and World Heritage Site, thirty-six miles offshore of mainland Belize. Then spend four and a half days in one of the richest marine environments in the Caribbean Sea. You will have an opportunity to paddle, snorkel, kayak, sail, fish, and SUP as you explore the turquoise lagoons and thriving coral reefs. Stay at our Southwest Caye Adventure Basecamp which provides comfortable, safari style tent cabanas and delectable cuisine including fresh seafood, tropical fruit and local favourites. Enjoy a flexible daily schedule on the reef, with activity choices geared to all interests and abilities.

Day 1 : Arrival Day

Upon arriving at the International Airport, connect for a scenic 20 minute flight to the coastal town of Dangriga and then by road to Bocawina Rainforest Lodge, the only lodge situated within a 7000 acre National Park. Tonight, we dine in the rainforest at the acclaimed Wild Fig restaurant.
Day 2 : Jungle Trails, Zipline, Rappelling & Water Falls

Stepping out your front door you have a kaleidoscope of adventures awaiting within what feels like our private 7000 acre National Park. We’ll hike to the top of Antelope Falls and take in majestic views of pristine rainforest stretching to the Caribbean Sea, zipline through the jungle canopy, rappel down a waterfall, and after some sunset birding we enjoy a group Dinner.
Day 3 : The Wild South
Location: Belize Spice Farm & Botanical Gardens, Maya Centre, Maya Center Women’s Group Gift Shop

After some sunrise birding and a hearty breakfast we drive south with stops at the Belize Spice Farm, May Center Village and the chocolate makers. We return to Bocawina for sunset, happy hour and a delicious dinner.
Day 4 : Glover's Reef Marine Reserve

You’ll depart early in the morning and drive Dangriga Town. Here you board a charter boat to our private base camp on Southwest Caye. We are located on south point of the Glover’s Reef Marine Reserve. On arrival, you’ll receive an introduction to your new environment before settling into your ocean view tent cabana. Our guides will then conduct professional instruction to teach you the fundamentals of sea kayaking, snorkelling, and tropical water safety. After training, enjoy a paddle to a nearby patch reef and start exploring some of the 700 snorkel sites Glover’s Reef Atoll has to offer.
Day 5 : Glover's Reef Marine Reserve

Our itinerary is flexible to accommodate individual and group preferences. Activities include paddling, snorkelling the inner and outer walls of the reef, SUP and learning to sail a kayak. In the mornings and evenings, we host informative sessions on a range of topics. This allows our guides to share their vast knowledge of Belize, its unique marine environments, and the local culture with you. Guests who prefer a more leisurely pace can always take time to kick back in a hammock and relax with a good book!
Day 6 : Glover's Reef Marine Reserve

You can expect to be pampered by our staff with delicious food and perfect days of sun and turquoise clear waters. Our meals are served buffet style and feature both Creole and international cuisine, prepared by our much beloved cooks.
Day 7 : Glover's Reef Marine Reserve

On the water's edge, with dramatic views over the main reef wall and the open Caribbean Sea is our large raised verandah, dining room, lounge and resource library. The enclosed outdoor stoop is where your island guides five their fun and informative talks on the surrounding ecology each morning.
Day 8 : Departure Day
Location: Dangriga
Meals Included: Breakfast
Many guests choose to wake up early on this final morning and enjoy a coffee on the dock for the last time. Watch the sunrise over the atoll before enjoying a hearty breakfast. Your boat charter usually departs around mid-morning to take you back to the mainland, arriving at approximately noon. Your trip finishes in the Garifuna town of Dangriga, and our helpful staff will assist you with connecting to the next leg of your journey.
