This was one of the best experiences of my life, meeting and topping my expectations, stretching me to do more than I thought I was capable. The Mayan village, homes and people we visited were appreciated. As was the tour of the ruins with Geronimo! I believe what was especial about our trip was the quality of our guides... trip wouldn’t have been so amazing without them! Island Expeditions obviously cares about the qualities and training of its guides. Kudos over and over to ALL of them.

This is my third trip with Island Expedition and what I loved about this trip the most was that Pedro opened up his home for us to visit, and we had a chance to go to our guide’s (Pedro, Mario and Venencio) home village to see how they live. We experienced The best Belizean meal which included jipijapa and heart of palm. I feel like they have become my Belizean family. They were all very knowledgeable, caring and fun. It was fun playing Uno and Kayak ball with them. I also loved Mario’s coconut talk and learned things about coconuts that I never knew before. Thanks !!!!!

Loved Belize. Appreciated the Mayan guides. The river was unique with so many rapids coming at you every few minutes, yet felt completely safe. The trip included the right amount of physical activity with time for total relaxation.
