Both Tsavo East and west national parks has variety of wildlife and worth visiting whether on short or long holiday in Mombasa.Tsavo National Park is the largest park in Kenya and consists of two separate parks, Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Altogether, Tsavo measures 21,000 square kilometres. The park is located between the cities of Mombasa and Nairobi and straddles the main road used to travel from one to the other. Tsavo National Park is known for its abundance of wildlife as well as a variety of geological features such as Mudanda Rock and Lugard Falls. Because Mudanda Rock towers over a natural dam, it is a good place to see elephants and other park inhabitants in the dry season. Other important features include the Yatta Plateau and the Aruba Dam.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Nairobi To Amboseli
Location: Nairobi
Accommodation: Camp, Luxury Camp
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Depart Nairobi early in the morning for Amboseli national park. You arrive at your camp in time for hot lunch and afternoon relaxation. Game drives starts at 4.00pm till dusk. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : Amboseli To Tsavo West
Location: Amboseli
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Depart after breakfast for Tsavo national park. We arrive at Tsavo West national park and check in for lunch at Ngulia safari lodge. Relax at your lodge up to four in the afternoon when your driver picks and leads you to the afternoon game drive for two hours. Spot the mane less lions in the park. Return for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : Tsavo West
Location: Tsavo West
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Depart via game drive after your breakfast and head to Tsavo East Park. You arrive in time for lunch and check in at Voi safari lodge. Afternoon you have your game drives visiting the Aruba dam. This is the park famous for man eaters of Tsavo. You return late evening to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 : Tsavo East To Mombasa
Location: Mombasa
Accommodation: No Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast
Enjoy your early morning breakfast and check out. Depart via game drives headed to Mombasa Diani beach. Drop at your respected hotel.
