Amazing trip!! Definitely recommended!! The trip covered all the main “must do!’s for your first trip in Egypt! It's a private tour so there's room for flexibility, in terms of what time to start, if you want to add extra stops or attend more things, etc. Ahmed, who did the whole coordination was amazing, always very quick to respond, and arranged everything to my requests. The staff who took care of us on the ground, especially Kareem and Heba to name, were excellent as well. They were truly nice and friendly, helpful and accommodating. We miss them now. The trip is really wonderful from start to end. As said, it covers all the must-do's, with informative private guides. If you have more time/ more days, or more activities you'd like to add, they're very helpful to accommodate your requests as well. It was really helpful. I cannot recommend this trip enough!! In addition to all the sites we visit, I liked how this trip included different elements of adventures. Starting at a nice hotel in Cairo/Giza, you take a sleeper train to Luxor. From there you're on a very nice Nile river cruise for 4 nights, while you make stops in Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan, Philae island, Abu Simbel, etc. This also includes a beautiful boat ride to get to Philae island, horse carriage ride to visit temple of Edfu… In addition, we also did a camel ride at the pyramids, the falucca ride in Aswan, you can even do hot air balloon in Luxor. The cruise is much nicer than being stuck on the road for hours to move to another city, you get to relax on the cruise, on the sun deck, nice food, massage, etc. The Nile cruise itself is absolutely stunning, you won't be bored just sitting on the sun deck and watching the views change. After that, we take a sleeper train back to Cairo/Giza. Things I would really recommend you to add/do during this tour: — Visa support; it cost extra USD5 than doing it by ourselves, but it was worth it, we didn't have to do anything, the person just picked us up where everyone needs to fill in the paper and queue for the visa before immigration, took care of it, and we were through with the immigration within a minute. Something you could consider… — Light and Sound show at Giza Pyramids (they also do similar shows at Luxor Temple, Temple of Philae, etc) — Camel ride at the Pyramids if you want — Do the hot ait balloon in Luxor — Visit the Nubian village while in Aswan (the boat ride to get there is also stunning!!) — Take a falucca while in Aswan — See a belly dance show (we went on Nile Maxim) — If you have more days, you should go check out Cairo, Alexandria, etc… There are more places to see, but it depends on your interest. — The cruise serve breakfast of course, but I'd recommend you try the Egyptian sandwiches with falafel! Upgrades to consider: — Hotel in Cairo/Giza — Giza and Cairo are about half an hour away from each other. After arriving in Cairo, we were put in Pyramids Park hotel in Giza, very near the pyramids (5min by car to the pyramids). This is a great location if you just fly in, and visit the Pyramids. But if you're staying here one or two days to spend time in Cairo, it's a bit far from the Cairo centre (about 30-45min by car). So you may want to consider staying a bit closer to Cairo centre. — Cruise — we were put on the Liberty. While the Liberty was perfectly fine for us, I would say it's about 3-4 star quality. We saw many nicer boats. We were happy with Liberty, but if you want more luxurious boat, perhaps you could ask if you could upgrade? Overall, definitely an amazing trip!!! Your reply on 05.03.2020
