Enjoy a scenic drive to Axim, Ghana where you will visit attractions such as Fort Antonio which was constructed in 1515. Lounge by the beach before continuing the following day to Abidjan, with visits to other destinations such as the ancient city of Grand-Bassam, the former French settlement, and home to many colonial buildings. Once in Abidjan, embark on a sightseeing tour of Abidjan. Serving as the capital, Abidjan is the biggest and most important city of Côte d'Ivoire. Visit the “Trechville market” where you will have the chance to get all your souvenirs. On the Following day Depart for a scenic drive to Yamoussoukro, the administrative capital of Côte d'Ivoire and home to the late president Felix Houphouët Boigny. Enjoy a tour of the Basilica “?ur Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro,” constructed between 1985 and 1989.

Day 1 : Accra - Axim

Early morning departure from Accra for a scenic drive along the coast to Axim. Axim, an ancient trading town has beautiful beaches, a large vibrant fishing community, interesting colonial-era buildings, a lighthouse on Boboewusi island and Forth Anthony. Explore Fort Anthony constructed in 1515, a massive triangular fort on a small promontory closer to the River Ankobra. Named ‘Santo Antonio’, it was the second Portuguese fort built on the Gold Coast, after St. George’s Castle (Elmina Castle).
Day 2 : Grand Bassam And Abidjan City Tour

After breakfast, depart for Cote D’Ivoire. The first stop is Grand Bassam, the former French settlement and home to many colonial buildings. You will also visit the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand-Bassam and the National Museum of Costume. Later return to Abidjan biggest and most important city of Cote d'Ivoire. With a population of around 6,500,000 people, it is the second largest city in West Africa after Lagos. Abidjan remains the economic capital of the country. You will visit the public zoo of Abidjan, where you will see many exotic animals. Later depart for a visit to the Musée National of Abidjan which has a very large collection of over 20,000 objects, including wooden statues and masks, pottery, ivory and bronze.Afternoon visit the “Trechville market” where you will have the chance to get all your souvenirs (jewlery, clothes, cloths, pagnes, woodcrafts...).
Day 3 : Abidjan - Yamoussoukro

Depart for a scenic drive to Yamoussoukro, the administrative capital of Côte d'Ivoire and home to the late president Felix Houphouët Boigny. You will tour the Basilica of “Оur Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro”, constructed between 1985 and 1989. The design of the dome and encircled plaza are clearly inspired by those of the Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican City, although it is not an outright replica. The cornerstone was laid on August 10 1985, and it was consecrated on September 10 1990 by Pope John Paul II.
After lunch on your own, explore the city of Yamoussoukro, home to the Presidential Palace, which is now used by relatives of the late president Felix Houphouët Boigny. You might be able to approach the estate by crossing а small bridge across an artificial lake, teeming with dozens of crocodiles. These are fed in late afternoon, providing а guaranteed close-up view of this feared reptile. Afternoon return and overnight to hotel in Abidjan.
Day 4 : Departure
Location: Accra

After breakfast, you can either spend the remainder of the day packing and doing last minute shopping before your transfer to the airport for check-in and final departure back home, Or prepare for a scenic drive back to Accra, with a stop over in Elmina for lunch on your own.
