Day 3 : Free Time or Trento

Join our optional excursion to Trento. Regarded as the most attractive town in the Trentino region, Trento is home to the spectacular Piazza del Duomo, once used by the Romans as their forum. The city is rooted in art and history, where the Italian and central European cultures meet. See the Piazza del Duomo or Market Square, where a baroque fountain of Neptune now stands in the middle. Around the square stands the Cathedral, the Law Courts, the Municipal Tower and houses painted with 16th century allegorical frescoes.
Day 4 : Riva del Garda

Today our full day included excursion takes south us to the magical Lake Garda. Spend time in the resort of Riva, arguably the best known of all the lake’s resorts. Enjoy a stroll around the old town and shops, relax in one of the bars, which look out onto the harbour. To make the most of your visit, why not take to the water on our optional lake cruise and sail to the charming town of Limone on the western shore of the lake. There will be free time in Limone where you can meander down the cobbled streets, or maybe sample the delicious Italian ice cream.
Day 5 : Free Time or Verona

A day at leisure today or why not join our optional excursion to the second largest city in the Veneto region, Verona. This beautiful Roman city is situated alongside the River Adige and is the setting for William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Verona was a Roman city, and many Roman ruins have been preserved, notably the Arena. Most of the historical sights to see today date from the past 800 years. Verona's military importance has also left city fortifications and an excellent castle. Verona boasts an abundance of fine palaces, churches and monuments, which adorn its alleyways and squares. You will have time at leisure to browse amongst the shops or take a coffee break in one of the many cafés in Piazza Bra overlooking the Arena
Day 6 : Bolzano & Dolomites
Location: Bolzano

Spectacular sightseeing on a grand scale awaits us on today's included excursion, as we traverse the towering Dolomite region along panoramic Alpine roads. We pass through Bolzano and begin to climb through stunning mountain scenery. The whole area is dominated by the jagged snow-capped peaks of the Sella Massif and the 10,000-ft Marmolada, a towering mountain known as the ‘Queen of the Dolomites’. Please note: this excursion is subject to weather conditions.
Day 7 : Merano
Location: Merano

Our included excursion takes us through beautiful castle-clad mountains to the delightful spa-town of Merano. Here you can amble along the streets of the old town and visit some of the many shops which are mainly concentrated in the medieval arcades. The Passeggiata promenade stretches along the Passirio River and is lined with historic buildings such as the Kurhaus. During your visit to Merano be sure to treat yourself and sample some of the pastries in one of the chic coffee shops and search for those last minute souvenirs in the quaint shopping streets.
