Day Tour To Luxor From Hurghada

Our experience with Luxor Private Tour was great. They were really punctual (arrived 5min earlier to pick us up) and everything was really professional. It took more or less 5 hours from Hurghada to Luxor. Tip: don't buy anything in the Restaurant where they stop, it's too expensive (Coffee 4�!!). Once in Luxor we met our guide Said. He speaks really good English and has large knowledge about Egyptian culture and history. It was amazing, he explained us everything about the temples and places we visited. And answered all our questions! We enjoyed and learnt a lot. Thank you very much! At 17h more or less we started our way back to the hotels. It was a long day but completely worth it. Some advices: Take small money with you (0.5, 1� or 10,20EGY) to pay the toilets. You will have to pay also 10� extra for the boat trip. We completely recommend to make the tour with Luxor Private Tour. During our trip we've heard other people who had bad experiences with other agencies (they go to many shops, the guides explain nothing, they ask for extra money for everything...). None of this happened with Luxor Private Tour and Sa�d (just 1 factory-shop), so we are really happy! ??

The tour guy Said was really friendly and polite and has very good knowledge of history. We were well looked after by him. We had a lovely day, excellent service and recommend for anyone wants to visit. The mini-bus was really clean and comfortable and the two drivers were really friendly and funny. Thank you so much

We saw Karnak, Kings Valley, the Queen's temple, a boat trip to a restaurant on the Nile and visited an Alabaster factory, and saw two colossal statues over 700 tons each.. amazing, highly recommend this tour Company.

I can just say excellent! The very new VIP minibus was Super. Our drivers and tour guide was first class. This itinerary is perfect for seeing the best sites in the area. All arrangements were spot on and kept to schedule. Cannot find any fault and thoroughly recommend.

The drivers were amazing, punctual, respectable, friendly and safe. Everything you want from a very long days drive. Said, our guide was outstanding. His attention to detail and knowledge was amazing, and he had a wonderful way with the small group. Very attentive and considerate to the needs of everyone. The high lites of Karnak and the valley of the kings cannot be overstated, and although the sites themselves were really amazing, with our tour guide Said, the whole day was one to be treasured. I cannot rate him high enough, interesting, articulate, knowledgable a walking encyclopaedia. One amazing day. And although the long drive back was tiring, our drivers were equally professional. An amazing experience one I�d recommend to anyone visiting Hurghada.

We got picked up early (4:20 in the morning) at our hotel, together with a small group of 7-8 people, which was very ok. We drove right into the desert, took a quick break at a gas station (it was actually colder than expected, about 5-10� at 6 o clock in the morning during december, long trousers and jacket recommended at this time of the day in the desert). We arrived at Luxor at 9:00. First, we visited the Temple of Karnak. Our tourguide Said did a great job leading us through the area telling us interesting stuff. Next we did a 45min boat trip across the Nile (was not included, about 12� p.P.), where we got a great view of both sides, Luxor City on the eastside and the Valley of the Kings on the westside. After a lunch with tasty food in a restaurant on the westside of Nile (great view!) we finally moved to Valley of the Kings and visited the 3 most important graves (of over 60 graves in total - way more time necessary to spend, but we were tight on time). Then, we visited a Alabasta workshop, a little show included :) After that we spent some time at the Temple of Hatschepsut, enjoying the great view towards the city. As the time went by, we had to drive home. On the way, before leaving Luxor city, we got the chance to see another landmark: Colossus of Memnon! This day tour is very well organised! Before the day itself the tour operator had contacted our travel agency to make sure we were still taking the trip and to inform us of the documents we still had to send (copies of our passports). On day itself we were picked up in the agreed upon time from the lobby in our hotel and took the scenic route to luxor, through the countryside, getting a glimpse of everyday life. We also got a small snack bag for during the trip with water and some food which was really appreciated. Our tour guide, Said, met us in luxor and showed us around the Karnak temples, a boat trip across the Nile, a visit to Valley of kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut allowing us to experience the history of these ancient places through his visual story telling. Additionally Said guided us well through the many tourist traps and sales persons, as well as provide us with drink a delicious lunch.

Wonderful, interesting, informative & fascinating day. All ran like clockwork- pickup etc smooth, wonderful pair of drivers, safe, knowledgeable, friendly, funny & caring. Our guide Said was incredible, knowledgeable, mindful of us all & packed so much information & so many pictures of the history of this amazing country into one day that we are still digesting it all. The optional trip on the Nile was well worth the extra small fee & ended at a lovely venue for lunch. All in all it was a long hard day for those of us less able & of advancing years but worth every minute & every penny. Comfortable shoes are a must & be prepared for steps & some rougher terrain but with the care that Said, & our drivers was very manageable. An unforgettable day & I would do it again lime a shot if I get the chance. Thankyou so much

Prepare for almost 3 hours ride from Hurgada to Luxor. Karnak and Luxor temples are vast and considering it is a one day trip and another 3 hours travel back is ahead, you have limited time to see all and go into details. Including travel to Valley of kings and tomb visits it becomes really a long day. Irespectively how tired you wil feel it is a must see at least once in life.
