Khopra Danda (Ridge) Trek

The beautiful flight in Kathmandu and you already start to feel all that enthusiasm. Right after that, our airport representative will drive you to your hotel from the winding streets of Kathmandu. Later in the evening you can roam around the tourist hub in Thamel and buy some equipment for the trek. You’ll stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

The journey to Khopra Ridge trek begins here. Early morning take breakfast and drive to Pokhara. The road to Pokhara takes along Trishuli river and Marshyangdi river valley showing a great view of Mountain range from the coach. During the drive, you will witness local villagers lifestyle, organic farming and cultivation along the hilly countryside. You’ll have your lunch in the middle of the drive to Pokhara. After 6 hours of drive, you will reach Pokhara and visit some beautiful places around Pokhara for the rest of the day. You’ll stay overnight in a hotel in Pokhara.

Have breakfast at beautiful lake city Pokhara being witness of mesmerising sunrise over mountains. After breakfast, you will take a jeep ride for Kimche which takes 2.5 hour. The drive through winding trail and hills be adventurous. Atfer drive, start trek to Ghandruk and finally up the day getting the beautiful traditional village Ghandruk. Stay overnight tea house being witness to sunset view of Mount fishtail and Himchuli.

Early morning have breakfast with sun shining mountains at your hotel and start trek to Dobato. The treks take you through the ridge line having a stunning view of Annapurna south massive towering above you and hear many waterfalls as the river races away into the steep sided valley far, far below. After, rest for a cup of tea at Meshar, the trails lead you through off the beaten path to open hill side at Isharu. Having rest at Isharu, our trek start for Dobato which is the nearest accommodation place for Muldhai view point trek. This day you will have most strenuous trek compares to other days during your trek.

The trek is all about view. The view of sunrise from a top of Muldai view point were superb, the valley filled with clouds below and rays of the sun spill over the Mountain in all its glory.

When you stand a top of Muldai view point, you will see more than 20 mountains including Annapurna Range, Machhapuchhare, Himchuli, Nilgiri Barahashikhar along together in 360 degree view. That’s a lot for any short trek, even in Nepal.

After, sunrise view from a top of Muldai, we will continue Southdown a small steep descending trail towards Chistibang.
The trail on the ridges and the top of the hills from Dobato to Chistibung would be adventurous andmesmerizing.

The day begins with breakfast and start the treks towards Khopra Danda (Ridge). You will pack your lunch and water due lack of tea house in mid-point due to scarcity of Water. On the way you might be able to get glimpses of Himalayan thar (goat) and Danfe (Pheasent) along with panoramic view of more than 25 majestic Himalayan peaks including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan range.
The Khopra also provide views of Kaligandagi Gorge the deepest gorge in the wold.

Wake Early morning for panoramic sunrise view of more than 25 majestic Himalayan peaks in the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range. After, breakfast you have a option to hike Khayer Lake (4700 m). The hike to Khayer lake will be very mesmerising as well as strenuous in very ways. The Hindu consider hayer lake is Holy Lake and belive that you can attain Nirvana by taking a dip into it. It takes one more extra day to hike Khayer Lake.
Today, you will leave amazing Khopra Ridge after breakfast and descend to Swata. You will walk over the ridges on hills with panoramic Himalayan scenery round you. Finally, you will reach to Swata which is known for community cheese factory. You can explore swat village and taste cheese and local food. Stay overnight at tea house.

After, breakfast at Swata, you wil leave for our final destination Natural hot bath spot Tatopani. After several hours of trek you will reach chitre, and you will lunch to Chitre. Having lunch and rest of later start trek descend to Tatopani. Finally, at Tatopani you will take rest and ease your tried muscles at natural hot spring bath. over night at hotel.

After breakfast we drive to Pokhara. evening enjoy at Lake side of Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara

It’s time to farewell to Nepal. Enjoy your moments in Kathmandu with shopping souvenir and have a farewell dinner with your Guide and company representative with your trip analysis.
