Phaplu Everest base camp trek is famous as a safe trekking route to Everest base camp, to base camp situated at 5364m. If trek starts from salleri, it is called salleri to Everest base camp trek. Phaplu Everest base camp trek starts with traveling to the trek start point overland, on Everest base camp road. Also, famous as the road to Everest base camp & travel from Kathmandu to Salleri, skips the flight to Lukla. Everest base camp by road is not only a safe way of travelling to EBC but also the beauty of the lower trail section from phaplu to Lukla (or salleri to Lukla ) gives insights of local culture and tradition, while trekking along the local villages. Phaplu Everest base camp trek do not start its first day inside the Sagarmatha national park; as of Lukla to Ebc trek, but after walking few days from salleri to namche bazaar will meet the same trail of Everest base camp trek with flight to Lukla . One who chooses to start trekking from Phplu or Salleri will see the less crowded trekking trail of the lower Everest region. Trekkers will get their private time to adjust with the weather of Nepal and will help them to acclimatize more. Unlike trekkers doing trekking with flight to Lukla, you will be able to see both domestic animals and the wild ones. The change in the lifestyle, culture, faces and tradition of people of lower Everest trail will drastically change after phaplu to Lukla or salleri to Lukla part of Phaplu salleri to Everest base camp trekking trail.

Day 1 : Drive from Kathmandu to Salleri at altitude of 2300 meters
Location: Everest Base Camp
After the breakfast, we will drive through scenic road starts from Dhulikhel, Khurkot, Ghurmi and diverse settlement of different cast system of Nepal. We will passes the beautiful pine and rhododendron forests, Magnificent mountains ranges and Rivers side and reach to Salleri, Phaplu, then we will stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 2 : Trek starts from from salleri to Nunthala village (2200m.) to Bupsa (2350m.)
Location: Everest Base Camp
Today your trek starts with through Tak Shindo-La pass. From this place, you will chance to see some of the best views of Kantega, Thamserku, Kusum Kangru and Mera Peak. After then you will pass through Serpa Village and green forest to the Nunthala. And overnight at guesthouse.
Day 3 : Bupsa (2350m.) to Surkey village (2400m.)
Location: Everest Base Camp
The morning starts with a steep ascend towards Khari La Pass (2880 m). Today, you pass through rhododendron and oak forest and a small Sherpa village. This viewpoint provides magnificent views of Numbu, Cho-Oyu, Gyangchung Kang, and Thamserku. Afterwards, descending towards Chaubar village, you will reach Puiyan. In the evening, you will reach Surkey, a beautiful Sherpa village at the bottom of Lukla.
Day 4 : Continue trek from Surkey (2400m.) to Phakding (2652m.)
Location: Phakding
Gradually ups trail to Chaurikharka, Chhepung, Nurning and to Phakding. The impressive view of Kusum Kangaru, Buddhist village with mani walls makes trail impressive. Phakding have various lodges for trekkers where you will find nice suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi River.
Day 5 : : Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m.)
Location: Namche Bazar
We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Koshi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering Sagamartha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar known as the Gateway to Everest is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchanges, internet cafes and bakeries. Namche is one of the biggest villages along the whole Everest trail. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 6 : Beautiful hike from Namche to Tengboche.
Location: Tyangboche
After Breakfast in Namche. You will walk on the side of the Valley above the Dudhkoshi River. Passes through the small village you can see the Himalayan lifestyle and mountain best climate of the Khumbu Regions. When you reach to Phunki Tenga you can climb uphill to Tengboche. Along the trail, you will chance to enjoy the beautiful rhododendron Flower and best Mountain View of the Himalayas. You will get best view of including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache, Kangtega, Thamserku and Nuptse. When you will reach to Tengboche you can explore the Khumbu main monastery which is Called Tengboche Monastery. And then overnight at Guest House.
Day 7 : Tengboche monastery to Dingboche village
Location: Dingboche
Leaving behind Tengboche, you will take a hike to Dingboche. As you head further, the weather gets colder, so stack up on some warm clothes. You will pass a small nunnery of Milingo then cross the route to the Imja Khola gorge. You will come across a lot of mountain goats/rams along the way. Views of Ama Dablam proceed throughout the trail.
After about two hours from Tengboche, you will reach Pangboche village, where you can have lunch. The village is the starting point for the Ama Dablam Base Camp trek or climbing the peak. While you are there, you need to visit the famous Pangboche monastery, the oldest monastery in the Khumbu region.
Then following the Lobuche river in the Imja Khola valley, you will trek through an easy sloppy trail towards Shomare village. It is the last village before Dingboche. Continue your hike by crossing another river towards Dingboche. Head to your tea house and get settled. Dingboche altitude is 4,410m/14,469ft, so the weather is freezing. You can drink some warm butter tea or milk tea while chatting with the locals and other tourists in the common dining hall.
Overnight stay in Dingboche.
Day 8 : Acclimatization day & rest at Dingboche
Location: Dingboche
Today you will be acclimatizing in Dingboche, after beautiful having breakfast, we will hike up to Nagarjung Hill, which is above the 5000meters. The acclimatization is very important for the trekker’s also we are going to high an elevation. We will be hike up at around 7, 00 meters and back down to sleep on the lower altitude it helps very much for travelers. If you do not acclimatization on the high elevation may be you will get high altitude sickness, that way it is most important. From the top if the blue sky we will be able to see the delightful panoramic close-up view of the white snow-capped peaks of Makalu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Island Peak to make the day attraction at it. Makalu are the one of the six the world’s highest mountains. After visit Nagarjung Hill we trek down to Dingboche overnight at Lodge.
Day 9 : Dingboche to Lobuche trek
Location: Lobuche
Having breakfast then heading to Lobuche.Today, the trail continues along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and passes by stone memorials for climbers who have perished on nearby summits.We continue to climb as we are heading to the altitude of 4910 meters at Lobuche which is really just a few huts at the foot of giant Lobuche peak. Some breathing problems may arise today due to the altitude. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 10 : Everest base camp day – long but worthful trekking
Location: Everest Base Camp
Day of reaching at base camp of highest peak of the earth, you are at the day of reaching your dream. It is better to start trekking as earlier as possible after your breakfast. The trekking trail to Everest Base Camp is not hard but it is continuously ascending and descending at glacier rocky trail. Everest base Camp is extremely beautiful. Panaromic Mountains including Everest is surroundings. We will come up to near from Khumbu Glacier and see icefall from slopes of Mount Everest. We than come back to Gorakhshep for our overnight
Day 11 : Hike to kalapatthar and trek down to Pangboche
Location: Kala Patthar
Early morning, we will hike to Kalapathar (5545meters/18,192feet) which one of the best view point for sunrise and sunset with stunning mountains from there. From Gorak shep to Kalapathar we will ascend it takes go and back 3/4hours from hotel. While we reach to kalapathar if the good weather we will be able to see the beautiful panoramic sunrise view with all Himalayas ranges, we can spend few hours on there to take a pictures and enjoying with nature. You will trek down to Pangboche and Overnight at their.
Day 12 : Trek from Pangboche to Phortse village
Location: Pangboche
You'll start with a climb past the monastery in Upper Pangboche and then trek one of the most spectacular trails in all of the Everest region. It is the high trail to the less often visited village of Phortse (3800m) which is home to many Everest climbers.
Day 13 : Phortse to Monjo
Location: Lukla
Enjoy the sights of the maniwalls around Ghat and other villages, as we make our way back to Lukla. This is our last opportunity to take in the Buddhist culture that has prevailed throughout the trek.
Day 14 : Trek to Lukla
Location: Tenzing-Hillary Airport
This is you last walk of your trek. Walking 7 hours from monjo will take you to Lukla.
Day 15 : Fly to Kathmandu
Location: Kathmandu
25 minutes of scenic flight from lukla will take you to Kathmandu.
