Phaplu Everest base camp Trek for 15 days

I went on a trip to Everest base camp and Gokyo with Nepalgram. I am extremely pleased with their service and would recommend Nepalgram to anyone who wants to take tours in Nepal. Arun Karki, the founder of Nepalgram, is a very nice guy. Despite my constantly changing travel plans, he always remained flexible and was very understanding. Our guide Mohan Rai was great as well. I had acute mountain sickness once I got to Gorakshep. Our guide Mohan was very quick to arrange transportation to take me down the altitude. Mohan's quick wit and smartness saved my life. If I was a few hours late in going down the altitude, my life would have been at risk. If you can take only one trip in Nepal, I highly recommend the Everest base camp trip with Nepalgram.

Having been an organizer of Buddhist Pilgrimages in India and Nepal for many years, I wanted to do a first Trek in Langtang (region with Buddhist history...). So I searched for an agency online and came across this one. After numerous and courteous discussions (high availability), the choice was made for this family agency on a human scale. The Trek was perfectly organized: welcome in the house, formalities, explanations, meetings with the guide, loan of equipment if necessary (sleeping bag, etc.), donation of t-shirt or polo shirt with the agency logo, ... Then debriefing after the Trek by offering a dinner and hand-delivered Trek certificate. The members of the agency are welcoming, smiling and open (Arun, Ashok....). They care about doing the right thing and are very attentive. The next Trek will still be by them. Because why change when things have gone very well? Do not hesitate to use their service. Our guide and porter were very good in everything.

Owner Arun was guide for many years. His experience was enough to guide you in the himalaya of Nepal. I did few ttekking and some tour with my family, I did not do it with arun but his information was great. If you are looking to design your trip to Nepal he can be a great trip#deigner. Everest base camp in Monsoon I signed up for Everest Base Camp trekking with two other people in the group. Trekking was scenic and the weather was fair enough. I had a very lovely time with our guide Arun, who not only guided on the trek but also showed me small details in the countryside (flora and fauna) that I wouldn’t normally have noticed. Trail was nice with all those flowers. Our guide and porter Saila, took care about food to accommodation; we were asked to start trek early in the morning to catch the view of mountains before clouds comes in, incredible idea of Arun. I booked the the trek in July/August 2018 which is monsoon in Nepal, meant that the views were more cloudy but we had the mountains and paths to ourselves! The briefing and meeting with Arun in Kathmandu before we started was helpful and the kits provided were very useful. I always felt safe with our guide and everything felt well organized. All in all, I would highly recommend the Nepalgram for Himalayan trekking and sightseeing tour.

My friend and I booked a 4 day trek through Langtang Valley with Arun and had a wonderful time. We were concerned about hiring a guide since we are very particular about our travel partners. But, by the end of the trek we considered Arun to be a friend. He was not only a knowledgeable guide but he was interesting, funny, and a pleasure to be around. Arun took care to walk at a comfortable pace for us and when my friend continued to fall behind (due to inexperience at altitude) Arun was patient and good-humored. He made sure his oxygen levels were at a safe level and stopped as often as needed to make sure my friend continued to catch up. The trip was exactly as described – the only surprise was just how stunningly beautiful and spiritual the experience would be for me. What a lovely trek – I cannot recommend it enough if you only have a short time in Kathmandu. And definitely book with Nepalgram – you will not be disappointed in the experience or kind company of Arun. I will be returning to Nepal in the future for a higher elevation trek and will, without a doubt, will be booking through Nepalgram. I went to Everest Base Camp with Arun as my guide and it was one of the best trips of my life. Arun is extremely knowledgeable about the region and culture and besides seeing the beautiful landscape, I really learned a lot. All lodging was taken care of and anything that was needed was handled immediately by our guides. I was constantly being asked how I felt, if I needed anything, and sometimes just got words of encouragement when I needed it (mostly towards the end when I was cold and tired!). I highly recommend Nepalgram! P.S. I was a solo traveler and even though I did make friends, I would have never felt left out thanks to my guide.

Trek to Gosaikunda was a very mesmerizing 7 days trek. During the trek, I got to know the religious belief of the place. The most scenic moment was the view of all Langtang Valley Mountains closely, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Sishapangba, and Paldor Peak. Pine forest, the trek route everything was very adventurous. I was on the trek with Arun an expert guide with the best itinerary. He was very communicative and gave all the local and religious information about the place and the trek routes that made the journey more meaningful. Fortunately, I did not feel altitude sickness but there were all the safety arrangements in case of any issues which is highly appreciated. All the different lakes, the beauty of snow nature covered in snow everything was so beautiful that I cannot even express it in words. One of the best memories in my life has been added. I would like to Thank Nepalgram Team and especially Arun for all his best support and plans during and for the trek. For my other trip, Nepalgram is my First choice and highly recommended to others who are planning to trek.

Arun is one of best people and definitely the best guide I've ever met. Tour guides for adventure trekking is very different than normal guides where they just provide you with information and tips on where to go. Arun was responsible for our group 24/7. He did everything from airport pickup, hotel rental, food, city tours, trekking, airplane tickets, and tea house bookings for us for a very reasonable price. On top of that, he made sure we had every need in the mountains - everything from the proper medication to making sure we paced ourselves during the trek to avoid altitude sickness. This is super important. When you're paying so much money for a trip of a lifetime, the last thing you want is to ruin your changes of summiting by getting sick. While part of that is genetics, a large part is also on the experience of your guide in making sure you know the warning signs and don't get into any dangerous situations. We saw people fall like flies in the last 2 days before getting to base camp. Their guides didn't know to check oxygen levels or about pacing. Some couldn't even communicate much with their clients. Arun is very fluent in English and was even helping out other tour groups as a translator. Just a nice guy all around and super responsible. Super impressed and will definitely use again.

Arun travel guide did a great job of ensuring our experience was a pleasant one. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, we felt in great hands and treated like family. It allowed us to enjoy our experience totally. Their organization, coordination, and knowledge of the country and the areas we came to visit were simply spectacular. All we had to do is simply enjoy our experiences. It allowed us to learn about local community, its wealth of rich culture and history. We are privileged to have had to opportunity to visit. I would like to recommend Nepalgram for future and will definitely do it with this travel team. A great 'thank you' to this team of professionals for making ours an experience of a lifetime.
