Itaipu Binacional and City Tour in Foz do IguaçuDeparture at 9 am
Guided tour of the main external points of the plant. Presentation video followed by boarding buses that travel by train to panoramic observation points, and on a route that allows observation of the natural bed of the Paraná River, Diversion Channel, Spillway, the Dam itself, Forced Pipelines, and the Reservoir, called popularly from Itaipu Lake.Visiting the Arab mosque Omar Ibn Al-Khattab is experiencing cultural and religious diversity in an atmosphere of total respect and harmony. Inaugurated on March 23, 1983, its architecture was inspired by the second largest sacred center of Islam, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem. It is white in color as a uniform shade and was created by the Muslim Arab community in Foz do Iguaçu, which is the second largest in Brazil.
It is a sumptuous temple, symbol of religion. It can be seen from afar for its architecture and its towers (minarets) 15 meters high. It is decorated with religious-inspired abstract art with various drawings, abstract figures and paintings with suras from the Koran. In a large wooded area, surrounded by several statues, with various forms of images, all representing Buddha in some way, is the Buddhist Chen Tien Temple. The architecture is Chinese, because the order to which this temple belongs is originally from China. In the entire external area of the temple it is possible to take pictures and film, in the internal part, not.
Chen Tien Temple is hosted by the image of Amitabha Buddha, the Buddha of Infinite Light. Right at the entrance you can see his image made of copper, 10 meters high.
There are also 108 identical images, 2.5 meters high and with hand gestures symbolizing welcome and meditation. Each of these represents one of the Buddha's incarnations on earth. The Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe Diocesan Cathedral is strategically located in one of the highest points in the city of Foz do Iguaçu-PR. The choice of location was with the intention of building it on the mountain which, for Christians, is the place close to God, after all, on Mount Moses received the 10 commandments (Mount Sinai) and it was in the mountains that Jesus sought the presence of the Father through your prayers (Mount of Olives and Beatitudes).
The Cathedral strengthens the devotion to the patron saint of Latin America, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and in its modern construction, it has three equal doors symbolizing the equality of the three peoples who live here on the triple border. Each of them represents a people: the Brazilian, the Paraguayan and the Argentinian.
Visiting Marco das Três Fronteiras is to know one of the most enchanting places in the world. The place unites three countries, a spectacular view of the borders, a rich culture, a
unique geography between nations and many stories.
From the Brazilian city of Foz do Iguaçu, where the Marco das Três Fronteiras Tourist Complex is located, the visitor has an excellent infrastructure available, with several attractions,
regional cuisine, historical setting, curiosities, comfort and safety to walk around, contemplate and experience the place.
From the Brazilian obelisk, fixed more than 100 years ago with the colors of the Brazilian flag, visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history of the country and the continent. lights and
waters around the monument transform this historic landmark into a living, pulsating and engaging attraction. Located in the Praça das Três Fronteiras area, the stop is
