Passage to Petra - 6 days

Truly made my entire experience in Jordan. I will recommend this tour to everyone now beck in Australia. I have never had a more knowledgeable, genuine and caring guide in all of my travel experiences.

Ogla was absolutely amazing. His knowledge, his politeness, his warmth, his friendliness all made our trip very memorable and made us want to go back to Jordan. The tour was perfect! Cannot think of one complaint. It was a beautiful trip and a learning experience. The Jordanians were extremely amazing people as well as the food and scenery. Petra was a blast! Even in our senior years, we were able to climb Petra and Ogla was there EVERY step of the way. We felt badly, cause it took us longer and Ogla was so caring for us. On-The-Go should be proud and honored to have such a man as Ogla in your employ. Our Wadi-Rum trip was fantastic and the Bedouins were truly incredible people. This was our very first On-The-Go tour and certainly not our last. It was planned perfectly and we are so glad we decided to take this trip of a lifetime! Thank you so very much for a vacation of our lives!!! We especially want to thank Ogla for making it all possible. What a guide!

Passage to Petra was such a great tour and our tour guide, Mahmoud, was a huge part of our wonderful experience. He is so upbeat, knowledgeable, and passionate - learning from him was a highlight of the tour. All of the destinations were absolutely worth the time, but i think that my favourite part was the Wadi Rum trip because it was just so gorgeous. I truly enjoyed Petra as well as it was a day full of physical activity - hiking all around. The hike on day 2 at Petra was my favorite part of touring Petra - there were fewer people, no horses, camels, donkeys, etc. It was quiet and gorgeous and the views were amazing. Overall, this was an awesome trip - Thanks to On The Go and to Mahmoud!

This tour was great to see the highlights of Jordan. It was my first solo trip and it was an amazing experience and got to meet great people in the tour. Our tour guide Mahmoud was amazing and always made sure that we had fun. Get ready for a lot of hiking for long hours but the spectacular views make the hike all worth it. I would recommend to try not to fly out too early on the last day of the tour (6th day) so you can enjoy a bit more time in the dead sea or take a day tour to the baptism site. On the 5th day of the tour you only get to enjoy 2 hours in the dead sea after the afternoon hike on the cannon.

I absolutely loved this tour and cannot praise enough. A beautiful country and covered most of the sites during the trip. The hotels we stayed in were excellent standards and the staff went out of their way to look after us. The food was so nice and reasonably priced that we did not look at other restaurants. Our tour guide Ahmed did everything and more than expected to ensure our safety, comfort and above all made sure we saw everything there was to see. I would highly recommend this tour if you are up for an adventure and history/culture.

I had an awesome time on my tour of Jordan. Olga was the perfect tour guide. He was fun; informative; concerned always to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time; flexible to make sure each person in our group got to experience exactly what we felt we'd like at the time; and he even got up early in the morning to give us special experiences that I'm sure no other tour guide would have taken their personal time to give us. I cannot rate the experience of my On The Go Tour of Jordan highly enough, including the support people and the drivers and everyone they use to give their guests a good time.

Generally all fine. Good guide. Hotels not great but suffering a bit from lack of tourists due to problems in the surrounding countries. Rooms OK but air conditioning couldn't cope with extreme heat, breakfast/service not that good. Itinerary was good. Aqaba probably not worth visit though probably on route. Thought Jordan quite expensive. Could include more Biblical references + Lawrence of Arabia in publicity and on tour to attract more people?

Tour was great with a mix of history, current situation and fun activities. Ogle was very supportive and made sure everyone was comfortable. Pick up from / delivery to the airport were very good.

Friendly. Knowledgeable. Helpful. Personally, I would have preferred a bit less quoting/referencing the Koran and Islam by the guide, but other people on the tour seemed to be interested and encouraging it, so it is just a personal preference. The Wadi Rum desert camp was rustic. I got many mosquito bites. I have previously camped in a desert many times by necessity, so this addition was not a new experience for me. Again, others might have got more out of it than I did. Petra was very interesting. Jamilla gave a good tour with plenty of information and insight. It was larger with more walking than I really expected. I should have had better footwear ( i.e. Trail boots) than I did; I only have sneakers. I think future tour members could benefit from being informed of the relatively rough walking surfaces and perhaps a suggested packing list could be useful.
