What type of tour is this? PLEASE READ
This is classed as an expedition style tour. When travelling in Bangladesh you must remember that it is relatively untouched by mainstream tourism, a good deal of patience and a sense of humour is an important attribute. This will help you to cope with problems such as ageing or poor infrastructure and when maintenance may not be as high as we would always like. Journeys can take a lot longer than planned due to congestion and local conditions. The choice of appropriate accommodation in some towns and cities (particularly the smaller places) can be limited, and standards of both service and maintenance can be less than polished. Guides and other service providers do not always have the decades of collective practice and experience that their counterparts in more developed countries can draw upon. Although we will always try and resolve any issues as quickly as possible, on occasions there may be some shortcomings which no matter how hard we try will be unavoidable.
-
Will the accommodation included meet local health and safety regulations?
Yes.
-
Who will be my travelling companions on the tour?
We have travellers from all over the world join our tours. The vast majority have English as a first language or speak fluently. The age range on our tours goes from 35 to 75, with the average age being mid 50's.
-
Can I join the tour once it has departed?
Unfortunately not.
-
What documents will I receive before I travel?
You will receive a PDF copies of your itinerary, a tour voucher with all local contact details and emergency 24 hour contact number.
