Transfer to Murchison falls National Park Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will begin on your excursion to northwest Uganda through the renowned Luwero triangle past Masindi town, making a break to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking and have a picnic lunch at WamRelax restaurant/Tesus restaurant. Proceed to the top of the stunning falls to see the magnificent flow of the Great Nile. You will marvel at the great Nile force its way through a small gorge just 7 meters wide and thunderously drop over 40 meters below emitting a water spray that creates a spectacular rainbow all at this natural wonder- the Murchison falls. Dinner and overnight stay Paraa Safari Lodge/Fort Murchison lodge/Murchison safari lodge. Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Game drive Start the day with an early morning breakfast before setting out for Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest, where you will spend a few hours with man’s ancestors, the chimpanzees. This Forest Reserve is home to over 600 chimpanzees living in families containing about 80 individuals each. Watch these great apes go about their routine activities which include feeding, bonding among others. Have lunch back at your lodge. In the afternoon go for a game drive, sightseeing plus bird watching in the open savanna scattered with riverine vegetation plus woodland and the crossing river Nile. Expect to see elephants, water bucks, buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, lions and a variety of birds. Dinner and overnight stay Paraa Safari Lodge/Fort Murchison lodge/Murchison safari lodge. Day 3: Boat cruise and Departure After your morning breakfast, enjoy a 2 hours launch cruise on the Nile up to the bottom of the falls. You will see several hippos, buffaloes, antelopes and crocodiles plus water bird on the river banks. Return to the lodge and check out. embark on the journey back to Kampala with a lunch stopover en-route, you will be dropped at the location of your choice or Entebbe Airport for your flight.
