Tour highlights Chimpanzee tracking Gorilla tracking Day 1: Arrival Upon your arrival into Uganda, You will be picked by our company driver guide for a transfer to your hotel in Kampala. Have dinner and an overnight stay at Speke hotel/Avesta hotel/Rochester hotel Day 2: Transfer to Kibale After your break fast, the driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala and drive to the most accessible rainforest in Fortportal which is about 295km and takes around 4 to 5hours. Have lunch in Fort Portal at Food Set Go/AmaaniRwenzori/Gardens restaurant. In the afternoon go for city tour and after proceed to the park. Dinner and overnightPrimate Lodge/Chimpanzee Guest house/Chimp’s nest Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking After your breakfast head to the park headquarters and receive a briefing from a UWA official about the chimpanzee tracking code of conduct before you set off to the forest for the adventurous tracking experience. You will be rewarded with sighting of other primates during the tracking. Possible sightings may include Monkeys, like the blue monkey, red-tailed monkey, red-colobus monkey. Return to the lodge for your lunch after the adventuring forest encounter. After your lunch take pleasure in the spectacular walk at Bigodi swamp that is protected by the Bigodi wetland sanctuary and discover the dominant habitants with a number of bird species. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge/Chimpanzee Guest house/Chimp’s nest Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi After your breakfast, hit the road for Bwindi Impenetrable national park with a lunch stopover enroute. Drive via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park and you may possibly spot tree climbing lions as they rest in fig trees. Other possible sightings include Cape buffalo, antelopes, and wart hog among others. Have dinner and an overnight stay atBuhoma lodge/Gorilla Heights lodge/Sanctuary Gorilla forest lodge. Day 5: Gorilla tracking Head to the park head quarters after your break fast and be briefed about the gorilla trackers code of conduct before your guide takes you through the tracking in the misty forest with your packed lunch. Retire in the evening at the lodge. Have dinner and an overnight stay at Buhoma lodge/Gorilla Heights lodge/Sanctuary Gorilla forest lodge. Day 6: Depart for Kampala After your morning breakfast, drive back to Kampala with a stop over at the equator in Kayabwe for souvenir shopping and memorable photography with a lunch stop over enroute.
